Boys Burger — Restaurant in Downey

My family and I had been coming here for years and up to a few months ago this place is not what it used to be and some the people working will charge twice when ordering with your debit or credit card and they will delete it from the transaction statement so when you go back and tell the you got charged twice they will look thru the transaction paperwork and say that they don't see it but on your bank account you will see the charge there, plus they don't change the frying oil for Al least a week and it's on Sunday because we went on a Friday just to see how was the difference between those two day and you can see it on the chicken dinners on Friday it will be more of a dark brown and on Sunday it will be a golden brown that way it should. And also the buy guy also said when he was charging me that" he has money" and one of the women servers just gave him the look like are you serious you are about to go thru that and he didn't care, so be careful they are very biased here would think twice to even come here. Go across the street to Luis butcher shop they actually have great food there. Try the carne asada palate there you won't regret it. And yes I did go back to get my money that was charged twice and it was a few days later and the owner's son said that it should be back in my account in a few days and...

Went into boys Burger today got a tuna sandwich was told there was no special then was told there is a special then when I ordered the special everything that I ordered was a dollar more such as onion rings understandable they serve fountain drinks I got a regular size Orange Bang which is still a fountain drink like a soda she told me for the orange bang dollar more they ran my card didn't go through had to come back and do it again I told her a dollar more she didn't pay me though? 🤣 I finished my drink and my special I walk up to the counter with my empty cup and ask for a refill with Dollar in hand mind you he tells me I have to buy a whole new drink they do not give me a refill which I just seen the guy before me just get a refill they said they don't do that with the orange bang I will why wouldn't you just fill my cup up and charge me half price instead of charging me for a whole new cup then I said just forget it so if you want to go through all these hassles stop at boys if not stopping any other hamburger stand unless...

The staff here have attitude problems except the 2 women workers I’ve seen there they’re the only nice ones. They seem like they don’t want to cook your order; the chef looked annoyed when the cashier repeated my order to him?? I also feel like they’re only friendly to Spanish speaking people. They’ll have full on convos in Spanish while I’m still waiting in line. In terms of food it’s overpriced for no reason and the food isn’t even that good especially if you order it to go the burgers are going to be cold and not that fresh. The chili cheese fries were about $10 and it’s honestly something I could’ve made at home and made them taste way better. I also don’t like the fact that they charge you for condiments I had to pay an extra 50 cents just for some honey mustard. I guess bc it’s a small business they feel the need to charge for sauces but still that’s extra. In the end, not worth it save your coins and spend it at a friendlier establishment with better, reasonably...
