Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Downey

I've been wanting to come for awhile now. So I told my girl, we going to try it today. She ordered the pad Thai. I ordered the spicy Korean beef. Both the bigger bowls..my girl said it was just ok..she got grossed out over the chunks of egg. My spicy Korean beef, was not so spicy, maybe I'm just used to something with more heat. My bowl portions were what I would consider small for $12+, it did have some flavor, but just not spicy enough (for me). The pad Thai, I had to finish my girls bowl after the egg situation, (cause I hate waste) was a little bland, even with the added shrimp to it. Together two large bowls and two drinks came out to $30+ A little expensive for what it is. I would consider it, fast food noodle establishment..the service was great, the dinning area was clean and presentable, just the food was a little disappointing. Would I come back...maybe...would my girl? She made a face and said she would be open to try the Mac n cheese, but not...

Had to change my review from FIVE stars to ONE star. Even then I feel like I am deceiving anyone reading this review as I would select ZERO stars if possible. Used to be a favorite/regular spot for my gf and I until recently. My noodles were as expected, however my girlfriends bowl looked like it was only half of what it should've been. Immediately brought it to the attention of the employees behind the counter and they agreed. Couple minutes later they come back to our table letting us know that the manager (which never showed their face) said that if we want more we need to order another bowl.

We don't want more. We want what we ordered and paid for. That's all. Again, we frequent this location. At least once a week. We never change our orders, therefor we have an expectation of...

Put a order for pick up and when I got there, their was one person in front of me. The cashier with pink hair helps the person place their order then proceeds to look at me and turn around to go wash their hands for three minutes. After washing her hand she going to the back for which felt like another 4mins doing God knows what.

She finally comes back to hand me my food which had been sitting in the pick up section the whole time.

The purpose of placing a pick up order is to not have to spend time ordering and waiting for the food to be prepared and this cashier make me wait such an unnecessary amount of time.
