Iāve been coming here ever since they opened. I like boba and live across the street so I get a drink often about once a week. Iāve never had an issue with quality, some issues with service, but overall a smooth experience. Today I went with my spouse to get some boba and after getting our drinks sealed, I took a sip and immediately noticed my 302 House Milk Tea was sour. Sour milk is very distinct and notified the lady at the front counter that it was sour. She said that I cant be right and demanded my cup back and went to the back of the store to talk with someone. Out came someone wearing a tank top, shorts, and sandals with a cup, drank some of the milk tea, and said it was fine. She then turned to me saying āHe said itās fine so the drink is fine not bad. It must be something you ate earlier.ā And proceeded to give me a new cup and walked away. I was absolutely stunned by what she said and stood there processing her words. When the shock wore off she had returned to the front counter (with my receipt, go figure) and I asked for a refund for my drink. She said ok and told me it will take 2-3 days. After going here for the past 7-8 years and to be insulted like that absolutely shocked me. When my spouse and I got in the car and drove off she tasted her drink and told me her Thai Tea tasted like coconut. I took a sip and low and behold, it indeed tasted like coconut. Iāve seen the place when it was brand new and have seen how it has fallen from what it once was. Rips in the seats, drink machines not working, ice machine not working, and now for the first time ever a quality issue and after just notifying her that it was sour I was insulted and told I was wrong. Couldāve just easily apologized and given me a new cup but wouldāve rather chose to deny and argue instead. Sadly, I wonāt ever be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't know of any other place that allows you to make your own Boba, Bubble, jelly, etc. drinks. I love this place because of it. It's not a drink buffet with free refills but you get to add and mix anything you want for your drink. They usually, not always, have the small and regular size Boba, and they have over a dozen other items you can add to your drink. So you order at the counter, they give you empty cup and you begin to build your own drink. You can fill it completely with Boba if you want or just get your drink. Then when your cup is filled, you take it back to the counter where they will seal it. As for the drink options, they have plenty and you can also ask for small sample cups so that you can sample the drinks before committing. Not only do they have a great selection, the drinks are really good. They also have food. I rarely order Fried Rice as I feel like it's an easy dish to make at home but I ordered it here just for the heck of it and I don't know what it is about it, but I love it. It looks basic and kind of plain but there is something about this fried rice that I just love. I also tried their Spicy Basil Fried Rice. First it is actually spicy and it is strong with the basil flavor. I enjoyed it and would order it again but be warned, you need to like basil. I also ordered their Cumin Chicken and Crispy Pork Chop. Both were good and strong with the Cumin. This location is not a full on restaurant like some other locations so if you've been to the others, just know it is a small. They are located at the Promenade at Downey and have plenty of parking. Overall, I have been coming here and will continue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI found this happy hidden gem via Google Maps two days ago while visiting family in the LA area. At a glance from the outside, you really canāt tell the many details about what lies inside, but once you open the door and step inside you immediately begin to notice the Japanese class room wooden desks that function as the eating tables. You notice the black chalk board art and classroom mementos that surround the long elongated chalkboard too. Itās very easy to get completely caught off and mesmerizing on the art and decor, but once you have had your fair share of the art you will notice the menu items and such. Then comes the exciting part, The Boba Drink bar!!!! A big portion of the establishment is Boba Drink goodies! You have a wide selection of frozen smoothies, teas, toppings, and boba!!! Although they really donāt have much of a variety of food dishes selections, itās all good, all of the dishes are pretty tasty, filling, and delicious too! I went a little bit overboard when I visited Class 302 and literally bought just about everything on the menu, lol. From the popcorn chicken to the calamari, we ate good! Needless to say that we had enough food left over to take back home and enjoy later. I definitely recommend for everyone to visit Class 302 and enjoy their delicious dishes and great tasting boba drinks! I literally canāt wait for the next time that I get to go to Downey, CA to...
