I’ve never been so frustrated with a restaurant experience before and as a manager I do not like to leave negative reviews but this was awful. They didn’t have a manager on staff when we went and were charged for a quesadilla that we ended up not eating as it was just too much cheese and chicken. Got a different item in place of it and then was charged for all items but she didn’t ring up our drinks. I asked that if we were going to end up paying for the quesadilla we would have just taken it Togo but she stated that no manager was on shift so she couldn’t remove anything off the bill. I figured based off the drink price and the quesadilla price (since she couldn’t take the quesadilla off the bill) to just bring us two more of our drinks Togo as the drinks were 4$ each and the food was 16$, she wouldn’t have had to ring anything in and the quesadilla that we didn’t take eat or take would’ve been paid for. Proceeded to charge us for the drinks and said “it’s not my fault he didn’t like the food and the kitchen made it so it still has to be paid for, it’s not my fault.” Who leaves a server on shift without a manager in the middle of the day?? Server could have moved the items we did eat and want to a different check and kept the other menu item on hold till the manager arrived or just told the kitchen to make the tacos without ringing it up to avoid the whole thing. Wouldn’t have had a problem until the server said “It’s not my fault he didn’t like it”. We were there at 3PM on Wednesday 2/5. Before all of this when I wanted to ask about the bill, she continued to roll silverware for 5 minutes with no one else in the building when I had my card pulled out since she dropped the check. Maybe it’s better at night but we will not be returning. Keep a manager on staff or call your manager to remove items, don’t say “it’s not my fault he didn’t like it and it still has to be paid for”. Heads up, tips go to the server, not the building Check. I’m a GM of a restaurant and I train my staff on how to handle these situations and especially make my phone available if for some reason a manager or someone with manager codes is not in the building. Teach your staff to solve problems if your not going to be in the building or just be in the building, maybe then the food will be better and not just enchilada sauce soup on a plate or all cheese quesadilla with...

So there I was, Thanksgiving day, feeling like a turkey without a home. My reservations went up in smoke faster than my Aunt’s infamous “flaming” casserole. I was on the brink of a holiday meltdown when I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I walked in with my party of 8 (yes, my family is basically a small army), and let me tell you, they worked their magic like culinary wizards!
Despite being busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger, the staff welcomed us with open arms and a smile that said, “Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.” And oh boy, did they deliver! The service was as impeccable as my Uncle’s attempts at telling the same Thanksgiving joke for the hundredth time.
Now, let’s talk about the food. If you're searching for authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further! I’ve been to Mexico enough times to know that I’m basically a taco connoisseur. And let me tell you, this place had me believing I was back in a sunny Mexican plaza, sipping margaritas and dodging mariachi bands. The guacamole was divine—cheese in guac? Yes, please! That was the first sign I was in for a treat.
And then came the pozole... Oh, sweet pozole! Words can hardly describe how delicious and authentic it was. It brought tears to my eyes—though that might have been from the spicy goodness. Either way, I was sold!
To add an extra sprinkle of magic to the evening, they played music that transported me back to my childhood, filling the air with melodies that instantly reminded me of my mom cooking in the kitchen. It was like a warm hug for my soul, and I found myself reminiscing about those family gatherings filled with laughter, love, and, of course, incredible food.
If you're ever in Florida and find yourself in need of a culinary miracle, make a beeline for this place. I can’t wait to return and relive this Thanksgiving adventure—because let’s be honest, it’s not every day you find yourself feasting on mouthwatering Mexican food when your turkey plans go belly up!
So, five stars and a hearty “¡Olé!” to the team who turned my Thanksgiving frown upside down and brought back sweet memories of...
Read moreMy husband and I found this place which is close to Cypress Pointe Resort (where we were staying during our vacation). We love Mexican food and were happy to find another place to try. The first day we visited was great! The customer service was wonderful. Our waitress, Christina, got our orders right, and the food was amazing! So, we decided to dine there again the next day. This time, the customer service was terrible. The difference was that on the second day, there were a lot more people in the restaurant. I understand being swamped with customers, but the neglect and inattentiveness was unacceptable. When we arrived, we waited only a few minutes to be seated. When seated, no one came to our table to give us water or chips/salsa for about 10-15 minutes. Someone finally came over and gave us the things you get when you are first seated. Then we placed our order for two margaritas; one regular and one strawberry. Our waitress (the same waitress we had on day one) brought out two strawberry margaritas. My husband immediately told her that he did not order a strawberry margarita ( he NEVER orders this...lol). She told him that he did order this. He corrected her AGAIN. She then said that she would see what the manager could do. After a while, they bought my husband the correct margarita. When we placed our orders for our food, we ordered fajitas. I ordered mixed fajitas (steak and chicken) with a mix of flour and corn tortillas. My husband ordered chicken fajitas with all flour tortillas. When our waitress came back with the food, she brought both of us all chicken fajitas and both mixed tortillas. This was incorrect. My husband told her he wanted ALL flour tortillas. I told her I ordered chicken and steak but will keep the chicken fajitas as I was starving (and a little irritated) by this point. When there are not a lot of people, the customer service is great. When there are many people, the customer service is terrible. They need to work on this. The food is...
