Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

I am updating my review for the last time, because I will NEVER order from a tropical smoothie cafe again. For the hundredth time my order is wrong. Food is missing, food is incorrect, this has happened three times this week. They hire incompetent people who do not know how to check orders, the staff will just make what they want to make you. Due to the amount of issues i've had, I was sent a $50 gift card- great except I can't use it because you cannot use them online for delivery (from their app) so it's worthless to me as I don't have transportation and they are not worth the cost of an uber. They will either forget your sides, forget your drinks, or give you something entirely different than what you ordered. I thought it was just this location so I ordered from a different location, wrong. They were just as bad. We are now a Planet Smoothie family because while I really enjoy Tropical Smoothie Cafe's smoothies.. I am tired of losing money by ordering there.

additionally, their point system doesn't work- they advertise you purchase smoothies prior to 11:00 for 600 points but they don't actually give you 600 points, and it's not worth the effort to reach out. Avoid this chain restaurant at all cost if you like to get what you pay for.

They don’t know how to read, I’ve gotten wrong orders twice in a row now. Zero excuse for it to be a repeated issue, especially when you put the sticker of the CORRECT sandwich on the incorrect sandwich. It was clean but empty. It was past lunch time so maybe it was just the timing. I think I saw two customers other than myself while waiting for the pick up. Staff were friendly and made sure I had everything (like spoon, and all items I had ordered) and kindly asked me to wait. Food was tasty. For the Detox Green Smoothie, I had replaced banana (had banana as a side for quesadilla) with kiwifruit and it was refreshing and tasted good. I enjoyed the tinge of ginger. It wasn't bitter. For quesadilla, it was a little less filling than I had seen in the pictures. Still tasted pretty good, I just wished there was more black beans and tomatoes, not just cheese. The Dragon Fruit bowl was small. I guess it was the ingredients which made it so pricey - $10 for a tiny bowl. Would not order it again. It was too sweet and seemed to contain syrup more than real fruit. So gave 3/5 for food. Would come back for the Smoothies though. The people working made it so unnecessarily difficult to order. I had to repeat to the lady on the register (who didn’t know how to work it) 3 times that I wanted a kids smoothie flavor in a large cup. She put it in as a kids smoothie and when I went back to tell them I asked for it in a large cup they literally fought with me about it, that they don’t put kids smoothies in large cups. My brother got the exact same smoothie in a large cup with no issues and this has never been a problem at any other tropical smoothie. After a few minutes of arguing with the guy making smoothies he relented and then MADE ME PAY for another smoothie, the smoothie I ordered originally that they rang up and made wrong. The customer service here was horrendous. I get that they are getting and training new people but this was literally the worst experience at a tropical smoothie...
