Update: A much needed update, so, Robert is the manager of the store and has completely changed my view of things and from what I've seen so far he is an excellent manager that made up for the recent fiasco that I experienced there. Got my burrito that I wanted and even hooked me up the next time I came around to make up for such a bad experience. It also seems he's gotten a really great team together to now work at the store. Ms. Diaz (sp?) is going into her second week and brings a very sunny positive attitude to the store and although not perfect, did a pretty good job rolling the burrito, much better than I think she gave herself credit for. Anyways, the point is, really turned my opinion and things are only looking on the up and up for this place.
I must have the worse luck ever ordering out. I used the app for the first time to order from Qdoba, pretty simple, chicken burrito with extra chicken, guacamole, sour cream, salsa verde, cheese, queso, onions, cotija cheese, both beans and white rice. Pulled up curbside, called up, the guy was right out didn't say a word or greet met just handed me the bag and left. Got home and took a bite and new something was off. Eventually after a few more not tasting any of the other ingredients opened the burrito to find none of the ingredients except the guacamole was in there and it was at the bottom of the burrito along with tortilla strips which was the one thing I didn't order. I called up the store to tell them they might have given me the wrong burrito and the response I got was, "well what do you want me to do about it?" Give me the burrito I ordered, how do I know it's wrong, because I 1) have eyes and 2) have been ordering the same thing for 10 years right now, minus the cotija cheese, i wanted to try that, which I couldn't because it wasn't on there or the extra chicken I paid extra for. Angel tells me there is nothing he can do because there is no manager and the manager won't be here till the morning. You have a restaurant with no manager on duty, so if anything goes wrong in the restaurant there is nothing that can be done. So now I have the wrong burrito, either because they made it completely wrong ignoring the list of ingredients or gave someone else the burrito I paid extra for and I have to wait till tomorrow for anything to be done and drive all the way back the store to get it. No, hey we'll reimburse you for the wrong order and come back next time and have one on us, not even an "I'm sorry, we must have switched up the burritos and gave you Tiffany's by mistake." All I got was a call back tomorrow, there is nothing I can do....
Read moreAWFUL, TASTELESS, RUDE! I went back the next day after I saw on my receipt they had over charged me. I was charged $40 for a 3 taco combo that was stale, tasteless meat! Wife got a burrito and the kids got a burrito kids combo. I got charged a extra burrito that we didn't order and didn't even receive. He offered me a burrito or some coupons. I replied no thanks, I Just want my money back for what I was over charged for, please Just give me money back for the error your workers made. That's the right thing to do. The Rude Man Manager literally wanted to fight me! He got right in my face in front of my wife and kids. I had to leave and I was so upset. They over charged me and I simply wanted my money back for 1 entree we never received or ordered. He even made stuff up saying I had already done this before there, lol! I'm from San Diego, Ca It's my first and last time coming to this ghetto place. We googled this place looking for a "family restaurant" in no way will I go back there if I come back to Florida. This Manager was out of his mind and has anger problems. This man has no common sense at all. He should be in the back kitchen not helping customers up front. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! GO TO CHIPOTLE OR TACO...
Read moreMy first time eating at this national chain, and if it's entire operation runs anywhere near as well as this location, I've been missing out! The staff was not only friendly, but helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They were obviously very well trained, and it shows! The food was fresh, amply portioned, and well presented. The prices were very reasonable, given the portions & quality. The speed with which they prepared our meals at the end of lunch rush, showed a terrific sense of urgency, and concern for customer satisfaction. What most impressed me was the clean restaurant (near the end of lunch rush, no less!), and the obvious attention to sanitation. Having taught Environmental Health (I.e. food safety & sanitation) for the Navy, I am particularly attentive to such things, and the culture of handwashing in this place was strikingly obvious. Many of their competitors, and other places with counter service/preparation (particularly by the same people who are also cashier's), should take note of how it can be done, without detracting from speed of service. Well done, QDOBA! and since I just downloaded your app (with some great rewards & discounts on it), I'll be...
