WOW!!! This was an awful, awful, awfulllllll experience. We had three mobile orders in our car and we told the kid at the speaker our codes. Immediately we noticed he had attitude, but it was whatever, not a big deal. We get to the window and he gives us our bag of food all in one bag but forgot our drink. We had to ask him for a drink and we had looked and he gave us a fry we didn’t order and forgot a burger. We tried to explain but he closed the window in our faces. He opened it and said “you only got two burgers” and we said “no we can show you our orders, we got three and the fry wasn’t ours”. Slammed the window in our faces, and got a manager. We tried to calmly explain to the manager that the kid just selected the wrong mobile order when we said our codes. But he met us with the RUDEST energy. “When you have 3 orders you need to come in. You slow down our times.” We told us to pull forward and we were all in disbelief. Now I can understand not being able to do that many orders. If he would have asked nicely for SURE could comply. But he was blaming us for some reason. We pull forward and my husband went in to talk to the manager. He tried to explain again that we were not in the wrong and we wish we could have been more kind and not blamed us. The only thing the manager could say was , “oh so we gave you a free fry?”. He kept repeating what we slowed down the line and we need to change. My husband actually remained really calm (proud of him) and was trying to understand where the manager was coming from. My husband said “we don’t mind to wait extra time for the order, but we just want to get what we paid for.” The manager said “but we do care about the time it takes. You’re inconveniencing us”. And my husband just kept reiterating “I am a paying costumer, and you’re not giving me my order?”. All we wanted was a “you’re right I’m sorry” but instead we got a “talk to the hand” gesture and the manager stormed off.
I promise we are McDonald’s lovers and go once a week. Always do multiple mobile orders, never had an issue. This location is just ran by a corrupt, rude, small minded man who hires teens...
Read moreIt's clear to see this is a super busy location with the quick access and stockpiling of supplies. It's also a great location for a sit down with someone, easy access and near the freeway. As with any fast food establishment it hero's to know their high and low times, and Google helps identify that. Once I've become accustomed to a place for the conveniences, I tend to play to their strengths. I usually arrange to do a quick meet with someone and we grab a coffee. While we converse, we may even get another. I stopped for a meeting, and ordered a coffee. Oddly enough, the employee gave me a receipt and a table tag and said they would bring it to me. I asked for a tag to wipe our table and was told patrons aren't allowed to use their rags. My co-worker went to take a seat and I went to the restroom (appearance of the restrooms was scattered with paper bits in the stalls, sinks needed cleaning). I was only a couple of moments and came out to see the table wiped and my co-worker was pulling out her notes and files. An employee passed by on several occasions and when I tried to get their attention, they were too focused or distracted with the crowd to notice. On several other occasions, I started to go between topics of discussion, to the front to ask for my coffee. ☕ the order was only $3.25 for a McCafe, and I never found a pause point...I look back now and think I was subconsciously testing the establishment. However, fast food joints aren't typically wired for table service, so that was obviously a hidden planned fail on my part. My daughter says those are the "My bad-your fault" moments in life. After more than 3 hours, still without coffee, we finished what we had intended and I went to the counter to get a refund. The new staff were very apologetic and the manager quickly refunded the order. In the future, I've noted to myself, hold my place for a coffee instead of thinking they can fit it into their table service. I don't think such a small simple order is able to warrant the resources of...
Read moreAnother sad excuse for a McDonalds in the USA, except where typically it’s the gut bomb level of food they serve, this time it was the horrendous customer service that made this McDonald’s experience so pathetic. Working fast food isn’t for everyone and while I definitely have empathy for anyone slinging grease balls from a drive thru window, the lovely lady we encountered today was both rude and uninformed regarding her menu options. If you have advertisements all over the outside of your establishment accompanied by even more ads in bright shining glory as you pull through to the menu board, perhaps when someone requests to purchase an item from said ads, you could be a little more eloquent when incapable of fulfilling their order. I’m not sure if things have changed since I worked this type of customer service but I was always encouraged to upsell as opposed to inspiring customers to completely cancel their order and “find another McDonald’s” as suggested by the lovely McDonald’s employee we encountered this evening. I’m not saying she is wrong, we absolutely could take our vehicle from their drive thru and find another McDonalds and likely within a 2 mile radius from their location. Perhaps though, this particular franchise owner and representative isn’t necessarily in favour of us moving our 50$ order somewhere else. Sadly, with a family of 8 I will likely always have to visit McDonalds as the pull of the giant lit up M will always create calls of excitement from the backseat. However, I won’t be visiting this one as it was so...
