Read all previous comments there's a common theme here. General manager Chris is an absolute jerk to all customers in the store Who has a complaint and refuses to give you phone numbers to corporate office or area manager or even the owner and he knows nothing about customer service. They run out of everything and screw up all the time.
The owner is clearly where Chris learn how to be a manager because the owner is as big of a jerk to customers as Chris is. He'll fix one issue so you give a good follow-up survey and then he backs out of the arrangement after you fill out the survey and ignore 10.
This guy can't even kanswer a phone as a professional! He sounds like the 16-year-old kid answering the phone from his siblings or parents not a business owner addressing problems with his restaurant!
I'm amazed this man owns this business Or that Papa Murphy's hasn't revoked his franchise with the number of complaints against it ! This location was great when it was above 900 E. under a different owner but ever since whoever this new owner is and Chris became his general manager the service is absolute garbage!
Another repeat theme is go to the Riverton or Sandy location instead! They're are worth the drive because they've become pros at taking care of the customers this location pisses off!
Not a big surprise though! they have different owners then this location whose owners and managers know how to take care of their customers and take ownership of their mistakes! Every one start writing emails to Papa Murphy's corporate and calling them every time so this guy loses his franchise! he is ruining what has been a great place to eat for 20 years in Draper and is supposed to make family evenings fun by getting great pizza but cooking it at home!
My family will never go back to this location until we see a sign that says under new ownership which sucks because we live right behind it and have been using it for 15 years But enough is enough and we plan to tell everyone in our ward our neighborhood anyone who will listen to avoid this...
Read moreIt appears they aren't overly concerned with negative reviews (read through them all), so this may just be noise. For the last 4-5 years we've frequented this location many times. We have a family member who hates cheese. Like has a physical reaction to it - repulsed by it - but loves pizza. For some reason, every time I've asked for a budget pizza here minus the cheese I've been told "no". I'm stumped. I get the modifications to the budget pizzas asking for more items, but I'm literally asking for something to be removed (thus saving the company money). I would understand if these were pre-made pizzas, but last Saturday I watched the employee make the "no" pizza from scratch.
Here's where it gets dicey for me. The routinely tell my wife they can or can't do it. There doesn't seem to be a policy in place. And for every time they've accommodated her, they've told me no. So it's just an embarrassing encounter every single time. As a result, I just come here less. We're still customers, but they've literally created less business for themselves. Again, it appears they don't care. They must be plenty busy to not address the slew of negative reviews here.
All I ask is that you apply the policy evenly. If it's a no, that's fine. If it's a "sure, we can do that", that's great too. Just so I can avoid the unknown - EVERY...
Read moreI have had two negative experiences (back to back) with this location. The first time I came to the store to order and was told I needed to call in an order due to COVID. That was no problem and so I quickly got in my car outside and called the store (which I had been in less than 2 minutes before). I got the shift manager who told me that they would not take an order as they were closing (20 minutes later). I explained that I could literally see her through the window as she was talking to me and she had previously just told me to leave the store and call in. They made the order (rushed) and then closed early. My second experience I called in my order and was told to come in 20 minutes. I arrived and came in (with my mask on) and was asked if I had called an order in. The staff could not understand me because of my mask, so I simply nodded. I was directed to the counter where a teenager asked my name. After not understanding me twice, I pulled my mask off the side of my face (partially only) and said my name. He IMMEDIATELY told me to "put your mask back on!" I felt like a criminal when I was simply doing him a favor as he could not understand. I will not use this location again and would advise others to...
