Really nice ambiance with friendly, helpful and professional service. The beverage selection is quite large and it felt as if a lot of thought went into the offerings. Food selection was somewhat limited, but everything we had was fresh, tasty and well portioned. Overall an enjoyable evening and we plan to return, however there are just a couple of suggestions that would’ve made this a 5 star review. With a wine flight, it would be nice to have one of the small carafes with a bit of tap water to swish out wine remains from the glass between the other wines in the flight. Also, there is a special offering of 30% off the price of bottle wine that you purchase to take (unopened) home with you. Nice touch, however, the method for payment (i-pad) lumps this amount in with the total check (pre gratuity), effectively forcing you to pay the same percentage of gratuity on the take home bottle of wine as for the food and drink for which you received full service. Depending on the percentage of your gratuity, this could significantly reduce the discount you expected to receive. Lula is a new wine bar and restaurant in Driggs ID, named after the owner’s grandmother who was an inspired cook. We had been anticipating its opening for awhile. We went for wine and dinner a few nights ago. The menu looked great as did the wine selection. We figured as a new place they would still be working out some kinks. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that everything was more than perfect. Top quality and fresh ingredients superbly presented. Friendly and knowledgeable waiter. We sampled quite a few items from the menu — starters, small bites, salads, sandwiches — and everything was fantastic. We tried several wines by the glass and they were excellent as well. By the bottle you have even more selection. You can also purchase bottles like a wine shop at a reduced price and even join their wine club. If wine is not your thing, they also have a nice selection of beer and cocktails. The atmosphere is intimate and modern, very pleasant and comfortable. Everything is clean and brand new. You can sit at tables, the bar or kick back in couches and comfy chairs. They also have outdoor seating for warmer days. Really a neat place with great food and wine. We’ll definitely be regulars. What an amazing experience at Lula Wine Bar & Bistro! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the ambiance — the outdoor seating is absolutely perfect, especially with the live music setting the tone for a relaxed, memorable evening. The space is so thoughtfully designed; every detail feels intentional and inviting, striking that rare balance of cozy and upscale.

And the food… wow. It’s hard to find cuisine at this level in such a remote town. Every dish was creative, beautifully plated, and full of flavor — clearly made with passion and top-tier ingredients. We were so impressed we ended up purchasing several bottles of wine to take home (and probably should’ve grabbed more).

We’re already talking about our next trip back. Lula is a gem — truly a destination in itself....
