We have been to your restaurant three times now and the two times prior to the third time were amazing. (Party of 6 every time) Food was amazing. Service was amazing. However the third time we went in, although the food was amazing, as per usual, the service was less than adequate. I'm unsure if the waitress was just to busy (there were hardly any tables filled when we arrived, but I did notice they did fill up rather quickly) with other guests or if she was irritated that there were six (two of which were small children, not sure if that was her source of frustration) of us in our party, or what the deal was. Maybe she was just having a bad day but we were there for TWO hours waiting on food. Thank goodness my children happened to be very well behaved that night or this could have been a nightmare for all of us. We ordered drinks, two garlic breads, and three pizza's. For some reason we waited almost 30-45 mins between being served our garlic bread and receiving our pizzas. I understand that everything is done in their amazing wood fire oven and that takes a bit of extra time, but 30 to 45 mins? We had ordered the same amount each time we went in and there was never a delay like that. To top it all off, the waitress I'm sure could tell we were a bit irritated by the whole thing, never once did she apologize for the delay. At one point she walked up to the table with the pizza's and in a nasty tone said "OK! Where do you want me to put this?". Now, I've been a waitress in my past life and its not the easiest job in the world at times, but I always always treated people how I expected to be treated. At no point were we ever rude to her, so I was a bit taken back by her attitude at that point. It was a bit embarrassing for us because we had brought out of town guests with us and had really talked the place up and we had this experience happen. I understand you all have a small restaurant environment and you do your best to cater to larger parties with a really nice back area, but wow, I was shocked by this experience after two really great experience prior. Sadly... I don't think we'll be...
Read moreSo we searched high and low for a place to eat our first night in Driggs Idaho. We wound up at this Tavern. It was actually worth the wait I was impressed with our food and that’s saying a lot by me. Our server Austin was right on point he suggested a great lite beer and was very pleasant. The beer was called Boise lite it is a local treat. It was not bitter or too sweet for a lite beer and I would recommend it anytime your in this area. The Pizza was great also. I ordered the Betty White with out the Jalapeños only because I’m not a spicy kind of guy. Anyway everything was great. If your ever in Driggs Idaho look this place up great service great food great atmosphere. Ok that’s all I have...
Read moreMy son and I went there on our way to our campsite and wow did we like this place. Took us a while to find it... it’s on the upper floor and you have to enter the building and elevator with limited signage outside... but the pizzas we ordered were outstanding and having grown up in Germany with many many Italian Pizzerias I appreciated the authentic taste and style of these yummy creations. Having a great selection of draft beers complement this made me ‘almost’ not want to leave for the campsite. Highly recommended. Also very much appreciated the sincere application of COVID spread preventing measures. So many other places just...
