This is our local Five Guys location that we have frequented for over 5 years. I have never written a review for this location but felt compelled to based on our recent experience with the culminating experience being yesterday. We have seen this location deteriorate in professionalism the last 6 months or so. The staff behind the counter are always friendly and hard working, however, we have recognized that the leaders (a younger appearing woman, and a middle aged man often seen sitting together by the soda machines conversing) could use some coaching. Yesterday we witnessed the woman negatively reacting to the food her staff gave her and she appeared to be disparaging to the staff as well as she was loudly speaking (borderline yelling) from her seat by the windows to the staff behind the counter because she was displeased with her hot dog. Reading the room, you could see customers eyes look around like "is she for real?". Zero professionalism or respect - oh and the other manager didn't bat an eye, he just looked on. In regards to the location - tables are often dirty. We sat down to a table and accidentally stepped in ketchup that was smeared on the floor... this was the table directly in front of the managers who were sitting at a table chatting and they saw me react to stepping in the ketchup and did nothing. It was a very warm day... about 95 degrees when we entered around 6pm, however it was warmer inside the location than outside. Lastly, the food ended up taking 15 minutes even though activity was light, I assume the workers were struggling in the heat. Unfortunately, the foil around our burgers and our burgers themselves were drenched in grease. Really disappointed to see how low the bar has dropped for this location and the leadership desperately...
Read moreToday it was our day, unfortunately we were served by Paulina H around 7:50pm . It wasn't really impressed us at all and even no line, but too bad she wasn't had us a chance to make an order the foods probably. 4 of us in the family, we only managed to get 2 meals and one smothey for the kids only. While my boys look up for the smothey menu. She was speak up , people in the line which 3 people just be inline. We were supposed to spend more money not only $41.29.
As we're a business people, she doesn't the right position at the counter with customers services . And I believe she won't make it better in order the company will make more profitable to the company.
We do go sometimes only whenever we go for regal cinema for movie and our kids asked for it. I'm really so sorry that Five guys had her in the company. If you asked us option we won't intrude to friends and family go back again. I hope , the company may take a little to check the camera and start to observe her while she work at the counters. Or other customers may have the same experience...
Read moreIâve been to Five Guys many times and do not recall an experience like this.
My dine-in lunch bill was $27.00 (after tip) and the food was given to me in a paper bag.
When I mentioned the order was dine-in the very kind employee (as they all are) informed me thatâs how they were told to do it.
I left my order on the counter and simply walked out. This isnât the employees fault, clearly.
I called corporate office who told me this facility is a franchise. Apparently theyâre able to disgrace the entire brand, as a subsequent call revealed theyâve been doing this for five years.
Bottom line is: it doesnât seem like the owners have any passion, certainly not one that matches that of their employees or the price-point of the food.
If you are in the mood to pay $27 for lunch and have it served to you in a paper bag - this is your place.
Otherwise you may want to try other nearby restaraunts that charge $20...
