We tried dinner and lunch since the menu is a bit different. Lunch features dim sum, while dinner focuses on larger dishes and is slightly more expensive.
Location is convenient, right next to the IMAX theatre so lots of parking.
So far it's been a bit of a mixed bag with some dishes good and other dishes not so good.
Good: Shiu Mai with shrimp roe - fresh and juicy
Healthy Stir Fry (dinner menu) - lots of delicious veggies including asparagus, lily bulb and morel mushrooms, cooked perfectly
Pea Sprout in Supreme Broth - pretty good
Steamed Sponge Cake - deliciously fluffy and not too sweet
Mid: Steamed Truffle Scallop Dumpling - too much black pepper overpowered any truffle or scallop
House Special Pan Fried Rice Noodle - good toppings with lots of seafood and bbq pork, but burnt rice noodle crisps for decoration don't actually taste very good
Bad: Pan Fried Pork Bun w/Scallion - this was the worst, the entire meat filling tasted of heavy ginger and the pork bun is nothing like a Shanghai Panfried Pork Bun (shenjianmantou). Skip this one.
Thus far patio has not been opened for outdoor dining, but would be nice if it was offered at some point.
Overall, I would say each meal has been a mixed bag. I hope that this is just new restaurant stumbles and that as time goes by the quality is more...

Read moreA delightful dimsum and Cantonese culinary addition to the Tri-Valley! Our host, Adam, and others were very welcoming and attentive throughout our dining experience with menu recommendations and even changing our plates for fresh ones after a few courses.
Flavors were exquisite with fresh ingredients. Everything was impeccable down to the tongsui (dessert) served at the end of the meal. Sea bass had a fragrant light breading, fried rice was replete with delightful and harmonious ingredients. The real highlight was the crispy pork appetizer that is candied atop with a fresh cucumber mayonnaise sauce.
Come early in the morning to avoid queuing for dimsum. Dinner portions are generous and attention to the plating of each dish added to the experience. Highly recommend this new spot to gourmands who appreciate delicious food with a...
