Eventide — Restaurant in Duck

We went here the other day for lunch, and now I'm obsessed with their veggie sandwich! The veggie sandwich is very well thought out and all the flavors compliment each other! Everything we have tried so far has been incredible. We had a few shareable plates like the palmetto cheese plate, hummus, and also had their beer cheese with pretzels. Every plate tasted amazing and had great flavor. I also would recommend thier salads with honey mustered dressing. Every time we went, the staff members were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our meal great! The restaurant also has a great seating area on the Sound. Went on a recommendation and truly lives up to the hype. I was so excited to see they had orange wine! Often charcuterie, like tapas, can leave you wanting more. The board we ordered was substantial. The product was high quality. My friend and I remarked at the butteriness of the salami and snappiness of the mustard on the board. Everything was delectable. Even the side salads, priced under $4 a piece, were hearty. Be mindful that seating is very limited and it's all first come first serve, additional you have to order and pay at the bar inside. What a find this place is! A delicious selection of wines and a great variety of charcuterie to pick from. The menu setup makes it easy to order; you order at a counter and the staff will bring you the order wherever you sit. You can mix and match most of the cheese and extras. For wine lovers, this place is a must visit. For cheese board lovers, this is also a must visit. And if you are both, then I think you get the idea.
