Tacos are a bit pricey for a taco joint, especially for the size. Mini 3.5in tacos at almost $3.00, specifically $2.69 each. Luckily I wasn't very hungry when I went. It was pretty late, a little before 11pm. 2 drinks and 7 tacos between the 2 of us cost $27. If I had been hungry, I can eat 4-5 normal size tacos on regular corn tortillas so the minis I estimate would have been around 7tacos, especially given I ate 3, not being hungry but didn't want to sit watching my friend eat by himself. Drinks were typical house drinks, Agua de Jamaica and a bottled refresco (soda) for my friend. If you are hungry and have money to spend, it's a nice taquería, nice area off Jones Bridge & Ptree Ind, great ambience, cool staff, good selection of traditional Mexican music playing, sports bar atmosphere, and it was open late enough so I reccomend it for sure. Just don't go if you are starving and low on funds, I don't know that it's a tipping joint, but you might want to be prepared, just in case. Service is great and it would be awesome to tip whomever! Oh, the food was pretty good, at least the tacos are. The main green tomato salsa wasn't spicy at all so that was disappointing, at least to ME because I LOVE a good spicy salsa, especially from my Mexican family, however they DID make up for it with another bottle of what I think was a salsa de la casa bottled in one of their plastic salsa dispensers. I want to say it was a lite avocado based salsa, maybe? idk, light green and spicy, flavorful....very delicious. I'm still gonna give them a 5 because I can't give a 4.5 and a 4 to me is too low. Plus the...

On the way home to Charlotte, I looked up restaurants on the internet. Armando's Caribe came up. Not what we wanted, so low and behold Armando's Taqueria popped up. Decided we would give it a try. Checked the menu out while driving to save time ordering. Husband ordered 4 tacos de Campachanos. He said the meat had good flavor but the tortillas were cold. He would have preferred homemade but he is spoiled with mine. Me, I am always reluctant to order one of my favorite foods, which is Menudo. In most restaurants Normally the base taste watered down with no flavor or the panza taste like they either didn't cook it enough or they didn't clean it enough. The young lady Fernanda said she tasted the Menudo for the 1st time this morning and it was really good. So, I took her word and ordered it. I was very surprised, it was very good. Pig feet were over cooked but the panza was on point. The flavor was the best I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The only other 2 faults were, the tortillas were a lil cold and the store bought flavor showed through. The other is that you had no Chili de arbols dorados. I liked your Menudo so much, while getting gas to head back to Charlotte, I called and placed a pick up order for a bowl to take home. Returned and as I am writting this review am sipping on my Menudo that was supposed to be for my lunch tomorrow. 🙃 🤦‍♀️

Thank you to Fernando for the suggestion and thanks to the cooks for the...

I frequent this place regularly because the food is that good. We normally go through the drive-thru and never care about the long wait because again, the food is that good.

Today I go in and was so disappointed in how I was treated. I ordered 3 Mexican corns, 3 orders of Beef Quesabirria Tacos, and 3 Chicken Street Tacos * They instead charged and placed an order for 9 Chicken Street Tacos. * I didn't complain just paid for everything, $64.49 with the tip.

Here is where I was disappointed the young lady at the counter just says, "sign here" she then turns the screen around and walks away. The receipt comes out of the machine and no one is there to give it to me. Was I supposed to reach over the counter? Finally the lady mopping the floor comes around and hands me the receipt.

No one hands me my bags (3 in total), says thank you or anything. TERRIBLE customer service and they probably have no idea how much I spend there monthly because we usually go through the drive-thru.

**Reading the receipt the cashier was Ashly (I will not provide her last name). Knowing how to treat customers should be addressed. I was really disappointed and don't know when I will return... But don't let me stop you from going, again the...

Great to have a Mexican street style food place in the area. My wife grew up on Mexican street food in Mexico, and she has a pretty high standard, so my review is mostly based on her thoughts. We tried a few different tacos, a gordita, and elote. The meat was well seasoned. Most meat choices were cooked well, although the tripe could have used more crispiness. Barbacoa and cachete were our favorites, very tasty. She wasn't thrilled with the taco tortillas, saying they tasted more like store bought than homemade. The salsas were kind of mild and could use a little better flavor. Gordita was good and well filled, just be prepared to make a mess! Elote was disappointing, needed more of the pepper seasoning. It didn't cover much of the corn. Sorry if most of that sounded negative. Overall, it's a solid choice and we're going to be back for sure. We just have high standards for this, and it doesn't quite live up to what you can find at taco stands in Los Angeles, for example, either in quality or value. But it's better than most of the options around Duluth/Johns Creek, so I still recommend it. Also love that they're open late 7 days a week. Oh, and I will say the staff was very friendly!
