ArtBar — Restaurant in Duluth

Decent selection of beers, wines, and mixed drinks. We had a fine experience the first night we visited; on the following night (a Saturday), we had an awful customer service experience. We arrived just after midnight, immediately following a large wedding held at the hotel. The waitress was very rude when we arrived -she audibly sighed and said that she "guessed we could stay" and order, but the bar was closing very soon. (It was still almost a full hour before the scheduled closing time.) The waitress then allowed us to order. At 12:40 am, a hotel security officer entered and yelled at us all to "finish (our) drinks, pay (our) tabs, and vacate the bar." He walked closer to us and immediately repeated the same message, louder, "in case (we) didn't hear." We expressed that we were attempting to follow his instructions and finish our drinks. He told us to leave the bar and finish the drinks in the hotel lobby. The doors were closed and locked at 12:45 am. Overall, a horrible experience that left us feeling disrespected by the bar staff...

I spent three separate Nights At This Bar for a car convention in October of 2018. My overall experience was not as fantastic as I would have expected. The bar was a upscale atmosphere and was decent in size. The food at the bar I thought was extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. I had drinks multiple nights and I also thought the drinks are overpriced. The older gentleman Eric made some of the worst drinks I've ever had. His drinks were weak for the price of the drinks I was very disappointed. There is a pool table and an outdoor recreational area that was nice. Overall it is nice but overpriced. Staff was nice.. after we got our appetizer saw the largest cockroach I've ever seen in my life crawling across one of the counters.. ordered the nachos tasted stale and old and it only got worse steak was 42$ and thin and over cooked the kind you would expect from a breakfast chain like cracker barrel... there was no redeeming quality my wife said her salad tasted old and her chicken was burnt .. cannot understate enough how bad the food was I would have rather ordered a pizza or gone to McDonald's even.. if your staying here eat literally...
