I went back and forth before writing this review as I do not leave bad reviews often. Suggestion: Before you sign anything you should strike out or negotiate terms, make the contract work for you rather than the other way around. I want future clients of his to be very wary before signing anything with Adam/Nadeem (owner of the event hall). He really shouldn't be in the hospitality industry as this person has no respect nor passion to host your next event. Due to COVID, our wedding was adjusted, we had vendors reach out to us and offer extension and in worst-case scenarios, a full refund back to us. These are the people you want to do business with, however, Adam/Nadeem is neither of those people. We had to have the event as Adam/Nadeem refused to give us a year extension or a refund and said it was “our choice”. So we ended up drastically cutting our headcount to get this nightmare of a person out of our lives, in cutting our guest count we ended up going from 39 dollars a person to 61 dollars a person. Profit over ethics? Profit over customer loyalty? You decide. Furthermore, we had booked a Saturday event originally that was around 7 hours and due to family circumstance we had to beg to move it to a Wednesday (we even told him to keep the same price, even though our new date was a weekday event now), we were told that everything was all good to go however a couple of days after we were informed that his landlord was going to charge him ~4000 dollars to host a Wednesday event that we would have to cover that cost, after already having to pay a 200 % increase per head…. as that was the excuse given, no further information was provided. Then he takes it upon himself to contact other vendors and finds us one for a weekday, however, to book with this venue now, we would have to pay an additional fee on top of what we had already paid to Adam/Nadeem and have our event cut down to 5 hours and lose our refundable security deposit. He told us we had 24 hours to decide and that he would only meet unless we had a certified check in hand..his excuse was that he was in California and would need to book on the next flight, mind you during the pandemic…. My family and I had decided we were going to enjoy our wedding to the max regardless of this vile person, he could not get to us, he will not get to us, however, it is an ethical responsibility to bring the light of the situation so in the future his clients can be aware of what they are...
Read moreI would not recommend this venue. It's sad because it is a beautiful venue but there were several flaws.
The owner was difficult to communicate with. He scheduled meetings around his schedule and convenience and he would forget about them. Many times it felt as if we were bothering him. I feel we were being understanding knowing he wouldn't respond immediately or even that day. We would give him sufficient time to respond but at times we wouldn't hear from him for weeks and we would have to send a follow up message or phone call that would go unanswered for another few days, if at all.
The venue was given to us in dirty conditions, the owner blamed us saying the venue had been cleaned before we arrived, even though I was the first one to enter and noted there were crumbs throughout the floors, cake and other food left from previous events in the kitchen fridge and dirty, unflushed toilets. The bathrooms had a horrible stench from the unflushed toilets. Even after reporting this, the owner did not offer an apology and said he would send someone the day of the party around 2 pm to take a look. We had to set up for our event and could not wait that long. Nobody ever came to take a look and much less clean up. Ultimately, we ended up buying cleaning products and cleaning the venue including the restrooms ourselves. And still, no apology from the owner.
During our event, the waiters provided by the venue were caught stealing trays of foods, party favors, packs of cups, plates, napkins that we brought for our event. They were also taking desserts directly from our dessert table even before the table was open to our guests. Side note: Security provided by venue were awesome.
Again, the venue has potential but truly, it's not worth the headache and I would NOT...
Read moreWe hosted an Eid Brunch at Premier Event Halls with the food catered by Asma's Cuisine. This event was for 300+ people. Our menu was Halwa, Poori, Chana Salan, Aloo Sabzi, Beef Keema, Seekh Kabob, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Palau, and Nihari. Allhumdillah everything went great and super smooth. The process of making the booking, to selecting the menu, to getting access to the facility for decor. When we arrived 15 mins prior the event time to the facility, the space ready and already cooled to a diserable temperature, the tables and chairs all setup, and staff was already there and ready to assist. As for the food, everything was served on time, and the taste of every item was on point. All the guests complimented the food (including the chai and mango lassi) and thoroughly enjoyed their meal. If you are planning on having a larger event and would like a fancy ambiance this is your place to go to!
I know others may have had a different experience, and I just wanted to share my experience on both the venue and the food as it's nice to hear the positive...
