We were excited to try Bridgeman's for the first time after being told by coworkers that their Chicken and Waffles was certifiably busting. We arrived on a Saturday in August around 11:30 am and the parking lot was packed. We entered and put our name in, a 20 minute wait for a table for two, NBD. We walked across the parking lot and bought a delta 8 pre rolled from a bong store and then fingered through old vinyls at a used Pokemon card retailer. We were texted within the 20 minutes that our table was ready and so we walked swiftly back over to the restaurant and were seated in a cute 2 top booth near the kitchen entrance. We ordered coffee from our host and waited to be greeted by our server. The place was busy af. Every table was poppin with excited guests either shoveling down their hash browns and ice cream or waiting for their food to be placed before them. There were some older folks probably ordering the licorice ice cream, a few forty something year old punk rockers slamming omelettes, an entire sorority giggling and yelping about their Instagram worthy dishes, families with children drowning in sprinkles, and then us, two hangry hungover weekend warriors. Our server greeted us and asked if we were ready to order. We were and we did. Understandably, it took close to 25 minutes for us to receive our plates. There appeared to only be two servers waiting on the entire dining room. I was less patient than usual, likely due to the black coffee storming in my belly, however I kept my cool, occupying my mind with the wordle of the day which was RUDER. Our food arrived and we began to dig in, we dug deep, at least six feet for afterward we felt dead and bloated. Bridgeman's is everything we expected to be. Delicious, busy, and welcoming to everyone. If you visit on the weekend, be prepared to wait for your table, your server, and your food. Working in the food industry is extremely demanding and often times the employees are underpaid... It's the unfortunate way of our world. So tip your servers and have patience, otherwise cook your own damn breakfast at home.

Don’t judge this place on my terrible pictures! 🤣 today I ordered something that wasn’t on the menu because I’m on a diet. I asked them if they could make me a piece of grilled chicken with pepper jack cheese on it and a bowl of fruit. They deliver just what I asked for, and I was perfectly, happy with the result. What are usually order is the turkey half sandwich either with fries or a side of fruit and the raspberry hot fudge wonder. I am a french fry connoisseur, and the French Fries are totally worth the calories🍟 I typically do not order fruit as a side at restaurants because it usually comes with a lot of melon which I do not like. The fruit side at Bridgeman’s is always a great choice, however. They put the good stuff in there! The ice cream treats are amazing. My youngest loves the dirt and worms ice cream sundae. Services always quick and friendly, and the food never disappoints. If you are coming to Duluth, I highly recommend stopping at Bridgman‘s either for ice cream or for breakfast, or for dinner, or for lunch, or for any of those combined! Fortunately, and unfortunately, for me and my diet, when I stopped at the front counter to pay, I saw this carrot cake dessert with toasted coconut on top and I had to have it. Was it good? Yes! It was totally worth the extra calories.

I've been coming here for years, and I love their breakfast! The food is always great—honestly, I think this is the best place in town for breakfast. That said, things tend to fall apart when it gets busy, especially with cleanliness. In my picture, you can see the film around my glass, and yes, I checked—it was definitely sticky. Our table was also sticky from the previous guests. I had to roll up my sleeves while eating, and after finishing, I went to the bathroom to wash my entire arms. I originally rated this place 5 stars, but after today's visit, I’m rethinking that. Fair warning: weekends are crazy busy. The front area gets so crowded that people block the doors and registers—it feels like a herd of cows. Maybe bring something shiny to distract them. The indoor seating is also really cramped. I wish they had fewer tables because you end up practically sitting with strangers. Plus, if you're lucky, you’ll get dinner and a show! listening to every episode of PAW Patrol blaring from a giant iPad from the children at the next table. Great food, but be prepared for the chaos if you go during peak hours!

Wow what an experience. We came with my grandson. He told us about this place when we were making plans on what to do. When I am out of town I prefer going to local places. Eating at places I cannot eat at home. Also I believe in supporting local businesses. This place is a must. Anytime we come we will come eat here. I can honestly say, I have never done a review that I could not find something to improve on. But with this place, I found everything to perfection. We were greeted right away with a friendly hostess that seated us. Shortly after we sat down our waitress came to greet us. Oh my, Olivia was our waitress. If you been here before, you know exactly who I am talking about. If you don’t, ask for her and you’ll understand why we were so impressed with her. I believe you can’t learn customer service. Olivia has that “ it” factor. Friendly. Attentive, good humored. Prompt with our food. I could do a whole review how impressive Olivia was. The best part that Olivia has is her sense of humor. mor. I was giving her a hard time in fun. And she was such a good sport. Now about the food. The food was excellent, great portions for the price. The Cole slaw was the best I have had in a long time. The had so many things that looked good on the menu. It was hard to decide. Thankfully Olivia was great in helping me decide. Finally when I went to pay. I believe the owner or manager was there. I complimented on the food and service. He took the time to have a conversation with me. By the time we left the were closed. He still took the time to have a genuine conversation with That impressed me. There are people you meet fir the first time and think. Wow. These are good people. This gentleman and Olivia are those type of people. I hope the business and these two individuals continue have success at the business and...

Service was horrible, could never find the waitress. There were 3 adults and 1 child. She brought 1 water and left, she finally came back to order. Gave her the order and I ordered a coke, chocolate milk, a butterscotch malt, raspberry malt and ordered the peanut butter special Sunday for my granddaughter (because that was the only one they had). She wanted the unicorn Sunday 🙁. About 15 minutes later she brought the butterscotch malt and chocolate milk and left, 20 minutes later I had to ask her for my coke, She brought the coke then left again, Another 15 minutes later she brought the food, we had to flag her down for extra napkins, 20 minutes later we had to flag her down for the raspberry malt and the gross peanut butter Sunday, She comes back awhile later with the peanut butter Sunday and she brought a raspberry Sunday (we ordered a malt not a Sunday) she dropped it off and didn't give us a chance to tell her it was a malt not Sunday.

We brought my granddaughter there for a special lunch and one of those big unicorn ice cream Sundays and all they had was the peanut butter one and it was terrible. She couldn't eat it, she couldn't pull the straw out or get it through the straw so she wouldn't eat it. Very disappointing for a 4 year old. The food was mediocre, nothing special at all. Got to the register and they asked how things were and I told them we were very disappointed and he said ok. That was it. $85 for a horrible lunch. Will never go back...
