Visited during my lunch hour. Wasn't sure what to expect from a food court restaurant, but wanted to give it a try.
TLDR; I will be back for lunch often.
The customer service starts as soon as you walk into the restaurant's proximity with a friendly greeting. They proceeded to take my order and confirm everything is correct. I was handed a buzzer for when my food was ready and I headed over to my table. Expecting to be waiting for a decent amount of time, I had taken my phone out and started doom-scrolling. However, it was shortly after I sat down when I was called up to retrieve my order.
Food taste was amazing. Much more flavor than I expected from any restaurant, much less one in a mall food court. If I closed my eyes and ate my food, I would believe I was in a full-size restaurant enjoying my meal.
Service was off the charts. Took my order with a smile, kindly pointed me in the direction of the silverware, napkins and water, even asked how everything was when I got up to get a napkin.
Atmosphere is good for the location. It was as nice as a mall food court can be, but it was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of seating available, although it appears some days during lunch they get super busy and fills up rather quickly.
I will definitely be back to enjoy my lunch whenever my time allows.
Thank you Jjamppong Zizon...
Read moreOvervalued. JJajang - don't even try, it was like a soup of onions and smelly pork , using overly the potato powder, making sticky and more quantity using less raw materials, an old trick. Some people saying as it is old fashioned JJajang, hell, no, it is a cheap, greasy jjajang. It was like I was eating 3$ value meal in a korean traditional market junk restaurant. JJanmppong - all seafood either overcooked or precooked, so all texture were too tough. I believe it is precooked. Fried rice - a typical oily fried rice with micro sized shrimp.
I believe the restaurant simply focused on how to make dishes quickly and cheap, like a sandwich shop, but this type of food is not the menu that can be made through that concept. Fortunately, mega mart has many new comers from other states, so I still see come customers during weekends, but sooner or later, there will be less and less returning customers according to the quality. I believe people feel the same way whether they could...
Read moreI first tried this place shortly after it opened, and this was my second visit. I was happy to find that the taste was just as good as the first time. The jjambbong here tastes just like the ones I had in Korea, so I highly recommend it if you’ve been missing authentic Korean jjambbong. It comes with plenty of seafood, all prepared without shells, which makes it easy to enjoy. The owner was very kind, and I left in a great mood. My friend and I each ordered a noodle dish and shared a small sweet-and-sour pork, which was perfect for two people. The pork pieces were thick and satisfying, which made it even better. I’ll definitely come back again whenever I...
