New Super Pho — Restaurant in Duluth

Food always good. The only negative when ordering online your food will be ready for pickup before they ever text you to let you know. My experience the last three orders. I just learned to go check to see if the food was ready.

09/21/24 - Update to my review. From a recent experience on Sept 13th. I wasn't feeling well. So I placed an order for delivery. I went to Google Maps and clicked on the website. Click on place an order online. Then it went to this site called SkipLiNow once the order was placed it said DoorDash would deliver. Ok, no problem. I received a text saying the delivery driver is having problems finding my location. My location is in Google Maps and I order stuff from Amazon quite often and sometimes get local Walmart delivery and never once had an issue with anyone using a GPS to find my location. Plus I live really close to this establishment. Normally I would pick it up myself but again I wasn't feeling well. So I tried calling the driver and texting the driver to assist the driver with finding my location. The driver didn't answer, didn't respond to the text msgs and didn't even try to call me. The driver obviously didn't care. Then the next thing I know I'm receiving a message saying my order was delivered. I'm like delivered where? My son and I went to check around outside, went even to the leasing office to see if they possibly dropped the food there but the leasing office was closed and no food was left outside on the ground. So I didn't receive my food. I called the restaurant, they said since DoorDash delivered that I needed to contact them for a refund. DoorDash apparently doesn't have a phone number. So I started a chat with a representative. Then they told me I needed to get refunded by the restaurant. To call them back. I did then the restaurant at first tried to brush me off again. But this time decided to look into it and said I needed to contact SkipLiNow the site where I placed the order for a refund. I'm like okay so then I called them but no answer the voicemail greeting gave an email address to email. So I emailed SkipLiNow and sent photos of my order, the text msgs I sent with no response, the phone call log showing how I called all these people, etc. They responded the next day via email and refunded me my money. But this experience left a sour taste in my mouth bc it shouldn't have been all of that. All these different companies utilized to place one small order and then having to contact all of them bc someone decided to either steal my food or if it was delivered somewhere delivered it to the wrong address. Also the establishment itself attitude about the whole matter not really seeming to care to some degree and if they know their site will take you to all these different places to order your food. They should know exactly who to send you to get your refund. Not sending you to this group then this group. So inconvenient. Will no longer order from this establishment bc I don't care to eat in the restaurant. I normally just order for pickup but after...

I'm from Connecticut and I have a lot of family here in Duluth, Georgia. So with every visit during the Holidays or because of weddings or special events, I am constantly eating at the same places like Don Pedro's and La Madeleine's or my family is always taking me out to try new places. I got a chance to visit Super Pho this past Saturday and it was great. The restaurant is brand new, aesthetically pleasing, and incredibly welcoming. I came in with some of my cousins and saw that the "Order" sign all the way up at the front, which wasn't what I expected, but it was easy to catch on to what they were doing. A really sweet and friendly girl took our order telling us that they just had their "Soft Opening" on Friday and were preparing themselves for their "Grand Opening" on May 21. And because this is their "Soft Opening" they mainly had only Pho, Banh Mi, and a few appetizers ready so they could get comments and feedback with hopes that they could fix a few complaints or take some suggestions and would be ready for their "Grand Opening." With that, I ordered a plate of Popcorn Chicken, a Rose Bowl of Pho Tai, and a cup of their Lychee Mojito. And the Pho Tai was delicious! The drink was also really refreshing and the entire meal was so filling that I barely touched my Pho Tai and had to ask for a to-go container. My only complaint is that I had to put my glasses on to look at the screen to read the menu but the girl taking my order recommended things to me and answered all the questions I asked so it wasn't really a problem. All in all, I was really pleased with my visit and I searched it up to send the address to some of my friends down here to try. Overall, I thought the place was clean and cute and the service was amazing and the food that I tried was good, so I will definitely be back!!!
