Food : we ordered the lobster and shrimp grilled cheese and the steami fries and the shrimp and bacon grilled cheese and reg fries a ginger ale and a Sprite. I would give the shrimp and bacon and reg fries 5 stars. My fiancé felt like he would want more "seasoning" on his, but that's just HIS tastes buds and preference. i think everything tasted fantastic. We came closer to Sunday closing time and the food didn't taste like they needed to change any oil or like they had burnt parts of any cooking surfaces.. it was fresh and hot and the serving size is pretty LARGE imo. Price wise our order came to about $35 dollars for the total order
Service : the order came reasonably quick, and the cashiers /servers were all attentive and kind. Not over the top (which I appreciated), they came and checked out the eating area and checked on everyone to see how things were (typical questions : "is everything OK with the food?" "Can I get you anything else?" )
Atmosphere : the place is very clean and nice.. I didn't particular notice anything fashionably outstanding regarding the decor ..I mean it ain't Nobu but the interior choices are smart, functional and appealing without being visually distracting/in competition with the food. There weren't any weird kitchen / floor smells. I didn't get to check out the bathroom which tells you everything you need to know about the state of the kitchen and the kitchen staff... so maybe next time.
But over all I give the experience 5stars and we...
Read morePretty pricey, but it was worth it when they first opened. Food quality was better.
Ordered uber eats last night and it came exceptionally fast (within 30 mins), however food was slightly chilled already. That’s fine, I expect that with Uber Eats, not the restaurant’s fault. The lobster looked good, but on first bite it was very rubbery. It tasted so overcooked and/or frozen. You know how well cooked seafood is supposed to be soft with a slight crunch? The lobster claw meat was falling apart like chicken breast, you can pull the fibers apart. Very dry. There was zero seasoning on the Connecticut roll lobster meat. The rubber lobster meat ruined it for me bad… The lobster bisque is very runny and has only a hint of lobster flavor. Get yourself Panera’s lobster bisque, way better over this one from a restaurant. Pickles were a bit weird and also rubbery rather than crunchy. Fries were OK, off brand ketchup is a cheap touch for such a costly meal. Everything is pretty greasy but it’s always been that way. I am just very disappointed I paid for rubbery, flavorless lobster meat. I grew up by the sea, eating seafood straight from the ocean. I know good seafood 🦞 . We cook seafood at home, yes in GA. I know you guys can get quality lobster in GA… this is a...
Read moreAte here after craving lobster rolls for a while and it did not disappoint. I wouldn’t say it was worth $64 for 3 sandwiches but it was definitely a pretty good portion for the trio, and the sandwiches were pretty packed. The coleslaw was disgusting, had a really weird aftertaste like it had expired, and the pickles were limp and dehydrated, salad edges were brown. However I didn’t come for the sides so I guess I can’t complain? I do have to address the tip culture that has gotten way out of control. I didn’t really understand how this establishment worked. You order your expensive food at the counter and they bring it to you, then you throw your trash away on the way out. Just like a fast food restaurant. I guess for the prices I wasn’t expecting that, so when the tip screen came up and the girl just stared at me waiting for me to tip her for nothing I was stumped and felt guilty. $74 lunch for 3 sandwiches it was. Guys… rest assured that you won’t see the employee again for the rest of your meal and you can just pay for the food without the guilt trip to tip an enormous amount for zero service. If I had known what I was walking into, I would have been better prepared. Next time I crave a lobster...
