BYOB and good food. When we first saw the entrance and dining room, we lowered our expectations. But Food was surprisingly good and fresh. Some pointers for the business: 1. Crab cakes - you should serve the sauce on the side and not drown it on top of crab cakes. Some people don’t like too much of the horseradish mayo sauce or don’t want any sauce. 2. You may want to serve some side of potatoes or rice with the dark spicy chicken and mushrooms . It was delicious though. 3. The linguine with white clam sauce was good. 4. The fish with stuffed crabmeat and lobster bisque sauce was good too. 5. You had too many veal dishes. Many people don’t like veal. Suggest you have two really good beef dishes. 5. The chef/server should put on a better outfit and clean black apron instead of the food-stained white one on top of a white tea shirt. 6. The front should have some pretty potted plants to have a nicer inviting clean look. Freshen up the dining room too. Always need to keep up a clean pretty look to stay in business. Good quality food is first but also a nice ambiance is a...
Read moreWill NEVER go back— EVER! The very rude waiter JOHN should absolutely be fired!! He made a few somewhat loud, anti semitic remarks and gestures that we overheard and saw about a family that was sitting at another table with 2 attractive women and 2 little boys while we were there for lunch.
He referred to Hitler and motioned to their table —is he serious! His hatred is disgusting and pathetic. Keep your opinions to yourself and if you don’t have anything nice to say, keep your stupid and obviously uneducated mouth shut—total loser. Also, if that was the owner (man/grey ponytail) & his wife, he was making those remarks and gestures to sitting behind them at the next table, shame on you as well. That waiter will destroy your business & if you allow this man to continue working there with this behavior, you deserve it ! Totally...
Read moreThoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I say experience, because that’s what it what it was. A local dining experience where you aren’t just going through the motions of a regular dinner. The owner/server greeted us and even struck up a lovely conversation. Even though we stayed for quite a long time and was the last table there past closing, he never rushed us out.
The eggplant rollatini was good and the oysters were extremely fresh! My entree was a fantastically prepare sole stuffed with crabmeat. To top it off, the homemade lemoncello cheesecake with a raspberry drizzle. Yum! Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. We will definitely...
