So I've been seeing this new place when I pick my child up from school. It piqued my curiosity. I've been wanting to try them. This morning I was rushing and didn't get breakfast. Let me give this disclaimer, I'm not a huge fan of Mexican cuisine. I decided to stop and try one of their breakfast burritos. I'm big on reading reviews. So I checked out their reviews first. They had maybe 2 or 3 negative reviews but an overwhelming amount of positive ones. They were busy with customers on the inside, so I chose to go thru their drive thru. I chose the american sausage and egg. Omgosh, it was devine. The tortilla by itself was delicious. It was fully stuffed with egg and sausage. It was so good, I went back before I picked my child up from school to grab some regular burritos. This time, I went inside. I was able to meet the owner. I raved about my breakfast experience and told him I had to come back and try some others. I told him this was my second time in one day! He was thankful and showed me their menu. He stated they had specialty burritos as well, but they offered other items besides burritos. They also offered plates with your choice of protein, rice & beans, other mexican specialties like menudo, tamales(wknd only), enchiladas, nachos, etc. I chose to get 2 steak and 1 chicken fajita burrito. I asked what came on them before I ordered. He said just meat. He explained if I wanted anything else like cheese, rice, beans etc. I would just have to tell them to add it. I think it would be an additional charge but I'm not sure. At the price they are, it still would be affordable if they did charge. I was good with just the meat. The fajita chicken was so good and flavorful. The seasoned steak was the same. My child's only complaint was he wanted cheese on his. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. I promise you won't be disappointed. The customer service was great and prices alone are again very affordable. I think you will be very satisfied and...
Read moreMy dad has been a regular since they opened and brought the hearty & tasty breakfast burritos home for us to try. We finally dined in as a family, and it's a Great spot for lunch after church on a Sunday! Order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your fresh food to you.
I tried the Huevos Rancheros; the sauce was not spicy but flavorful! The beans & papas were good. I expected 2 bacon strips. which is standard with this meal at other places, but it was more like fresh chopped up bacon bits which was fine for me. You get choice of fresh flour or corn tortillas, and 2 are served in foil in a tortilla warmer. It was YUM! To drink, I had an Agua de Jamaica; tasty and sweet. They offer fresh made horchata, limonada, and Agua de Sandia (watermelon) as well.
Mom ordered a small menudo with 'a lot of hominy' and her taste buds were pleased. It's our go-to for menudo and a Mexican Coke for sure.

Read moreI had seen the chamber’s posting on the opening of this place and had to check it out. It was great. The tortillas are huge and fluffy! I had the barbacoa plate, it was s great value. My beans had a slight scorched flavor but not something most would notice and it was near the end of the day so… it happens. Not enough to make them inedible and as I said, most would not even notice. The barbacoa was perfect! So many places give you a very small amount, and you get a lot of grissle and fat, this was not at all ‘dirty, as I call the fatty grisly stuff. I actually will be saving half for tomorrow. Overall excellent! What I liked… Aggie owned, we Aggie moms love to see this. Great value! The beans tasted homemade and not canned. Rice was tender and very flavorful. I will most certainly go back. We have had several businesses in that location. The others were a one and fone for me. I will most certainly be back.
Oh! And the lemonade...
