The worse food I've every gotten from Chili's, possibly anywhere!!! Food was awful. Went there for my "special needs" son's birthday. This is his choice yearly. I did all I could to make his day special. It was, but Chili's was the stain to his day.
Due to the excessive noise (loud music, patrons talking, staffers, kitchen, etc); we no longer eat inside. Plus it is very cold inside. So we choose takeout now.
We arrived around 6:20-6:30pm on a Sunday. We waited over 30 mins. I told the lady that it was my son's birthday and she said that they don't do anything for carryout birthday's. I informed her that this was fine, I was doing as much as possible to make his day special already.
First, we had to pay on the electronic system in advance which also asked for the tip up front. We were just placing our order at the front counter at the door.
Next, while waiting, I noticed that one of the Grub Hub people picked up one order immediately and waited between 20-30 mins for the next. The first order had to be cold by the time the second one was ready. So, I changed my mind on ordering my food via delivery the next time.
Once our order finally came, we were so disappointed! We got to the car where my son always starts eating his food. It was so cold. His fries were luke-warm and limpy. He was so disappointed. He tenders were cool/warm.
So, I decided to check my food; icy cold. I was outraged! The bread was soft and soggy. The noodles were cold, stiff, stuck together, and tasteless as though they had been cooked in plain water days ago with no salt or seasoning and left out; then placed on my plate with little to no sauce.
When placing our orders, I informed the young lady at the counter that I didn't like cilantro. She stated that the Cajun Corn could come without the cilantro. I said, ok. When I received it, it was completely covered with full cilantro leaves. I couldn't get the all off. The corn was hard, extremely dry, and burnt on both ends. Cajun doesn't mean burnt!
It all was so terrible! I just couldn't believe that Chili's wouldn't send out food like this. So disappointing!
I was getting ready to go back in to complain and find out how dare they have us to wait so long just to receive cold stale food!!! The purpose for waiting is to receive hot fresh food!!!; Not stale cold nasty food.
But my son begged me not to go back into Chili's to say anything because it was his birthday. He was so sad and felt bad! He said that he felt guilty about our food being so awful since he pick Chili's for us to eat dinner. He decided to eat his food as soon as possible so that it didn't get much colder. He wanted to enjoy the rest of his special day as much as possible. I simply but my food aside.
SHAME ON YOU CHILI'S FOR ALLOWING FOOD TO LEAVE YOUR PLACE IN THIS MANNER! WE ACTUALLY PAY GOOD MONEY FOR THIS "FOOD"!
I know that others got bad food on that day because someone called complaining and I heard the lady at the desk say something like, "bringing it back won't make it taste better". I just hope that those people write a survey comment as well!
YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!!!
CHEF GORDON RAMSAY WOULD HAVE SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN BASED ON WHAT WAS GOING ON THE SUNDAY WE WERE THERE, INCLUDING DRINKS BEING LEFT UNATTENDED BEFORE GIVING TO CUSTOMERS, ETC. WHAT IS GOING ON THERE?
My son really really loved Chili's! He looked forward to going there for his birthday every year and if I choose to visit throughout the year, he is super excited! He eats mostly the same thing every time. Now he's saying that he has to figure out a new place to go. He doesn't really like change!!!

After 10 minutes of waiting in my car in the hot sun, I flagged down the server to ask about my order. She said that the time emailed to me was just an estimate and it really depends on how busy was the kitchen. If the time emailed to customers is just an estimate, Chili’s should really make that clear. My order was also incomplete, even after waiting for it for almost 20 minutes. I ordered the Shrimp Fajitas to include guacamole and extra corn tortillas. Both were not included. The bowl of beans also was topped with pico de gallo. Is that something new? I don’t remember it being like that the last time I ordered Shrimp Fajitas. The vanilla ice cream was also not included with my Molten Chocolate Cake. Lastly, the receipt with the survey code was not given to me. Was that an honest oversight or was it to keep me from filling out the feedback form?
Original Review: This review is for the To Go experience. I haven’t been at a Chili’s restaurant in over 20 years. Today as I sat in my car after taking my dog to the Dog Wash at Pet Value, I decided that I was too tired to cook dinner tonight. Chili’s is right across from Pet Value and I ordered online. It was only a 20-minute wait once I placed the order. Just enough time for me and my dog to walk around the shopping center. The order was delivered to my car on time. I was very impressed with the portions! I ordered the 3-for-$10 deal. I got the Mango Iced Tea, Baked Potato Soup, Original Chicken Crispers, Corn on the Cob, and Onion Petals ($1.00 extra). Everything was hot and tasted very good! I actually couldn’t finish since the portions are big. So I will have half the soup and 4 out of the 5 Chicken Crispers for my lunch tomorrow. The only concern I have was that there were no napkins nor utensils provided. It didn’t matter to me since I took it home. But if you’re planning on eating on the go, you might want to check for these items before leaving...

About 10 minutes later a lady walked over asking if we wanted drinks we told her we were waiting for the rest of our party she walked away. Once our party arrived she took a very long tolime to come come take our order as we were only one of three tables that needed to be serviced then rest of the restaurant was empty as it was close to closing l. As she takes our orders she rushed us to place she then got most of our orders wrong or they were incomplete and she kept disappearing when we needed her we had to continue to wait as we Kept needing things then she comes and just leaves our bill without asking how we wanted to pay as we were paying separately and as we were calculating separately we asked her to explain a few things on our bill and she shrugged her shoulders and said she did know what they did as if she didn't wait on us so we paid our bills separately on the tablet provided and there was still way to much money left on the bill to be paid hints the reason we asked for an explanation most of us paid on the tablet and one paid in cash and as we left she followed us out and took pictures of our license plates as if we ran out on the bill when we all paid our bill and added in taxes.
