Stacey's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Dunn

We went for lunch like we have many times in the past. We've always had a really good experience. But this time the wait staff made our experience pretty bad. Our waitress was Rachel and we hadn't seen her before. But she was not attentive at all (there were 3 tables in the whole place) after she took our order and brought our drinks her and the other waitress sat on the other side while the kitchen staff brought our food. I was missing a side of fries and my husband had gotten the all you can eat wings. She did not check in with us after we got our food resulting in a very long time before we had to wave her down to get more wings and for the fries to be made. Which again took 15mins. Another waitress ended up helping us more than she did. And while she was nice she made it seem like we're a burden to her as it was like she just wanted to sit and chat with the other waitress. Also the wings today seemed like they were just sitting in a warmer. And you had to ask for them to be crispy for them to be. I was very disappointed...

I had a chance this morning to stop by this little diner while on the way to get my vehicle serviced at a dealership in Lillington. The reviews were great so I decided to check it out for myself. The staff were friendly and I had the chance to meet the owner. Which surprised me. So young yet very professional and warm character. You can tell that her heart is poured into this Business. Shout out to Stacey and her team.

Recommendations. Biscuits and Gravy and their Sausage is delicious. The French toast is delicious as well.

I don’t know how they get away with the pictures they have posted. I traveled to this place based on the pictures of the restaurant & pictures of food platters & trays shown. Very little was as shown on their post. I wasted several gallons of gas and the food was terrible. Very little taste, hush puppies cold, not completely finished cooking inside. Potato Salad was very poor. Almost no relish, potato cubes were way too big, They should have paid me to come there. Still wouldn’t live up to posted pictures. Will...
