Gilly's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Dunwoody

This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH ANY RESTAURANT

it started with postmates which on there they have a brisket sandwich listed. My 1st driver goes to get it and then I go back and check the app again and it's a different driver. That driver goes to tell me that they don't have the food and I need to cancel the order which I do.

Then, postmates tells me because I canceled it and not the restaurant I can't get a refund and the driver nor the restaurant was answering the phone which then leads me to go up to the restaurant.

I get there and I'm standing there for at least 5 minuets with no one asking me if I need help. I ask 1 of the ladies at the bar for help she looks at me and then says "hold on one second" and walks away and starts helping other people while I stand there for at least another 10+ minutes waiting on "help" while there are 2 other girls behind the bar standing around and talking to each other.

1 of the other girls FINALLY walk past me and I ask for help which she agrees and I proceed to tell her about my situation well in the midst of that she tells me they don't have a brisket sandwich OR the Mac and cheese and the order was suppose to be canceled which she then turns the screen to me and ask me if I know how to cancel it which I proceed to tell her I do not.

I ask her if I can just get something else instead and she keeps tapping on the screen and then walks away I'm assuming for help and then another 15+ minutes go by as I am still waiting on what's the next steps.

AND THEN a different waitress comes and tells that Because they don't have either or they will let me get something else that will total up to my order which is what I asked 20+ minutes ago at this point just for me to wait ANOTHER 15 minuets for me to ask where my food is and for them to ask me "how many wings did you have?" I tell her 15 and 5 minutes later she comes back with the wings but no fries. I waited another 5 minutes and then they brought my fries and FINALLY the ordeal is over.

Moral of the story do not EVER EVER EVER order food from this place. Everybody in here is laughing, talking and watching the game so I guess come in here for a...

I was in that area for about a month due to a work convention. Looked up the surrounding spots to go eat at and found this place. The parking was surprisingly easy and when I walked in the vibes were decent. I didn't expect a lot seeing how it was 1:37 in the afternoon. I ordered some wings (Korean Spicy), steak and chz, and I had an IPA. The waitress/bartender was cool but left me with an off putting feeling. I racked a quick game of pool and before you knew it my food was out. I went to my table and sat down. The food looked great, but once I started on the wings I realized that they were undercooked and had a faint smell. On top of that, I ordered Korean Spicy but got Teriyaki. I slid them to the side and started on my sub. Idk if it's the foodie in me, but the steak tasted like store-bought and lacked seasoning. Once the waitress/bartender came around I said something about my wings, she then just stared me down like I was speaking another language. After about 40 seconds of silence I just asked for a to-go plate, paid for my order and just left. I'm trying to remember what her name actually was and to see if I can find my receipt, but as for now I don't think that I will frequent that establishment again. I ended my day by having to go get (Pepto and ginger ale) because that chicken had my stomach on another level! Typically people don't give you numerous chances to disrespect them especially when you are paying them for a specific service, and on top of that having the bubble guts makes it a "NO" for me...

When I saw the "Bar Rescue" sign I should have turned around. I ordered the Fried Mushroom plater and only ate one bc it was gross (fried in pancake batter it seemed like) ordered the ribeye and they gave us a fillets of idk what and it took about 50 mins to get it bc it was defrosting(waitress told us so) and came out burnt anyways. Ordered the Philly cheese steak and got a mouthful of SALT. Had three trays of fries with different meals that tasted like pure salt. Had two different kinds of different specialty cheeseburger meals that tasted like pure salt.. Waitress brought us out one thing of fries without seasoning and I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that they had made fresh but were still extremely soggy. Told the waitress about all of the concerns and was still charged for everything plus automatic gratuity on the bill..... simply bc we had already started consuming the food. never mind the fact that we couldn't continue eating it.. (We literally had to stop eating and could not consume the food and they still charged us for it) I wouldn't recommend this place at all... the fact that we were the ONLY people there should have told us that to begin with...
