I am a local to the area and decided to try steak and Grace last night, was looking forward to a good meal at a new place. For walking in the atmosphere was subpar the art and seating looked cheap. It was less than appealing. Service took forever, could not get our waitresses attention for the life of us. When we finally did our food, took about 30 minutes to get to us. I ordered half dozen raw oysters. I ate three of them before I put water on a cracker and it was practically black with black sludge coming off of it. I flagged down the waiter and she said she didn’t know what was wrong with it. I had to ask her to take it to the manager. He came back and said that there was mud in it and gave me two new oysters, not offering me a choice of another meal or looking at any of the other oysters or a refund. I ate the two new oysters he brought and left the rest. We got our bill and it was still on the bill. After I went home, I was sick as a dog from eating the oysters that were very obviously contaminated and bad. Will be calling the restaurant with complaints and concern for basic...
Read moreWe were a party of four for Friday night. Let me start by saying “ would I up rush back because this place rocks ? “ most likely not. When you walk in at 7 on a Friday night and the restaurant is mostly empty , you get that weird feeling. Trey was our server, and while very friendly , he always seems missing as if the restaurant did not have enough staff. While you glance at the menu, it’s becomes apparent everything is mostly Ala carte. We started with Caesar salad which basically Romaine with a few croutons. It’s a whopping $14. Bread loafs 4 bucks. I ordered the iron steak frites with broccoli substitute. Steak was okay, but the broccoli was awful. Our friends ordered to spilt a 9 oz filet which was good, but the menu killed us with for small pieces of asparagus. Pesto with shrimp was okay. With a few drinks our bill came to 233$ for basically 3 entries. We skipped dessert because it sounded like it food service bought , but I may be wrong. I give it...
Read moreThere is great potential with this restaurant but what we received needs fine tuning. We were recommended the mussels and while I loved the spice and initial flavor, the quality of the mussels wasn’t there for me. They were quite gritty and fishy with only two small pieces of bread alongside it. The hanger steak we ordered had good flavor but we asked for medium, and it came out very medium rare and cold. The Cesar salad was good but small. My favorite part of the meal were the fries that came with our steak (which were lukewarm but still yummy) and our cocktail was delicious. Thanks to the bartender for the big pour! The bar was roomy and nice so this might be a good spot for a cocktail...
