We love 11th Street Station. Our feedback is about this vendor.
My son decided to try the poke bowl. Since he’s 12 he doesn't eat spicy food, per the menu, it showed this dish had no spice. Unfortunately, it had red chili flakes! When he raised his concern to the young lady at the counter he was told the ahi was soaked in samba sauce (a spicy sauce). We attempted to offer feedback that this should be listed on the menu. Similar to nuts, not everyone likes spice and this wasn't listed as a spicy tuna bowl.
Unfortunately the young lady and young man there were not all all receptive. They offered to let us speak to a manager. Why can't young people just acknowledge the feedback, make it right, and move on? Instead, we dealt with attitude, especially the young man who was more interested in having conversations with his co-workers versus helping customers. Can't you train your people better? Not rocket science.
They immediately offered us a refund which we weren't seeking. So the underlying issue...
Read moreWe heard the music of the venue from our hotel and walked over. It was after 7pm and they shut down at 8pm so we had time and came to this truck for dinner. I had the ahi poke bowl and she had the Mexican bowl. Both were excellent. However, her Mexican bowl took almost 25 minutes to get. She finally walked over to see what the issue was and saw them putting together a few of the same bowls. Not sure if they wait until they have a few of the same order before filling them or what. The guy working there was friendly and cordial, the young woman there was kind of standoffish and in fact did a good job of ignoring both of us on individual trips to order. If she is a regular there, I'd probably not go when she was working and the slow service for one of our orders put us off. The food was great, the service left a lot to be desired, but we don't live here so it's not like we'll feel like we're missing good food by not...

We visited Durango Colorado for our one year wedding anniversary and wanted a light dinner option and came across Avalanche Bowl Company while walking downtown.
First off, the area is so cool! There are tons of food truck options, the outdoor atmosphere/ seating is fun, had multiple different areas to sit and they had live music.
We ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke bowl and we LOVED it - The Ahi fish was fresh and cut perfectly to mix the other components of the dish. The other components included: edamame, stringed carrots, sushi rice, seaweed salad and diced mango. This Ahi Tuna dish was a perfect fresh and light dinner! I highly recommend this area and...
