Waffle Shoppe — Restaurant in Durant

I am absolutely amazed at the things I was able to order at the Waffle Shoppe!

Being a vegan, I'm always asking the cooks is there this in there is there that in there, with IHOP and Denny's and Waffle House I always have to worry about egg and dairy being in all the mix for everything

Not here

I caught the place opening at 6:00 a.m., had a double biscuits and gravy, pancake, grits, and hash browns seeing that we were the first one through the door I didn't have to worry about there being any egg or meet residues on the flat top, and wow their food was awesome!

It was overall the greatest breakfast I've had in Forever

My juice was watered down to the point to where it tasted like water not grapefruit juice which has an extremely bold flavor.my eggs had a floury substance in them which I am extremely upset about I'm gluten intolerant due to celiacs disease and I was in physical pain for the remainder of the day. My husband ordered a five egg scramble that was two maybe two eggs and was mostly the floury substance he's currently on a keto diet and although ordering his food keto friendly the food knocked him out of his ketosis state and put his body in reset I would never recommend this restaurant I understand we're going through supply issues at the moment and I understand inflation also but you cannot mess with people's health and you need to be honest about what you're putting into...

Stopped by here with my wife early one morning as they just opened up. We were greeted with kindness right away. Waitress took our drink order and then came back to get our food order. Let me say this....I Love breakfast!!! I ordered the 3 eggs, hasbrowns, bacon, sausage and toast combo with a waffle. My breakfast was Great! My wife ordered nearly the same combo and she too said hers was great and very delicious! I was very very pleased with the friendliness, the atmosphere, the FOOD and how clean the place was. It has some miles on the building but it was very pleasant to discover this restaurant. I highly recommend the breakfast! One day I'll try a late lunch or dinner and write about it as well....
