Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Durham

I have never been so livid/muttered so many profanities while standing in a small line for food. I also work in the mall with only a 30 minute lunch break and i visited last night 5/18, ordered a small chicken California and a cheese and bacon fry. How simple. I then proceed to watch every person after me order and be served before I’m even asked if i ordered something. Why else would i be standing there?! I don’t even know why bother even taking orders when every person working tries to jump in, handing me stuff that i didn’t even ask for or handing me plain fries instead of the ones i asked for, then proceeding to tell me they’re out of freaking cheese sauce. So after standing there for 20+ minutes on a small order i really don’t care at this point and leave with my messed up order because I’m now late back to work. I will NEVER be back and if i am it BETTER be prompt correct service. I’m already about to be in contact with the district manager, mall management and corporate. This type thing happens EVERY time I’ve visited this location; if you can’t run your restaurant correctly then get the hell out of our mall so we can put something...

This place is terrible. From beginning to end. We ate lunch here today unfortunately. The girl taking our order could not have been more rude. Totally nasty attitude. I almost told them to just cancel my order then but I tried to let it go. Then we get down to the end of the counter and the guy says sorry we don’t have any trays. I’m ok with that, no problem. But then they put lettuce all over my chicken cheesesteak which I had asked for no lettuce. So the guy takes my sandwich off the shelf he’s placed it on and took his gloved hand and proceeds to try and scrape the lettuce out of this sandwich. Which of course he didn’t get it all out. Then he slathers 2 inches of Mayo back into it since I guess he thought he’d scraped it all out. I’m trying really hard not to come unglued. I ask for some banana peppers and he takes a handful and throws them on my sandwich which is back up on the shelf. There were many other issues with mine and my fiancés meal. Absolutely despicable price gouging going on here. I ordered this via Uber Eats and got the Old School Chesesteak and the Kimch Cheesesteak for my wife. The menu description for the Old School Cheesesteak literally says that it comes with Extra Steak. When it arrived I opened the box to find that there wasn't even enough cheesesteak in the bun to cover it from end to end - 40% of the bun had nothing on it. I just paid nearly $16 for a bun and a few scraps of meat on it. I will never return to this establishment again, your advertising photos and menu description are just straight misleading and deceptive. I cannot stand restaurants that don't sever the same quality product that they would expect when eating out themselves. Learn to give a darn or...
