Tried for first time. I did an online order day prior and pick up at 750am following day, order was on a table with name and receipt. The box was ready when I got there. Good quick and delicious. Start with the Raised donut- upon first bite is was what u want, little crisp on the outside, with just a bit of resistance, the inside airy and light. Had a good flavor, not overly yeasty, not much from a aging of dough flavor, solid. The glaze I got was chocolate, white and maple. All were good, the frosting itself was a bit hard and found it a little sad that as u got closer to the end the frosting was crumbling off of the maple, the chocolate was slightly better adhesion. The maple frosting is flavorful and if u like that profile delicious. The chocolate and white was fine, my kid loved them. I am not much on that choc flavor.

Next the French Crulle - first time for me having one, and wow! Amazing! Get this, glazed, maple whatever, so good. It is like a raised donut, bit of chew, but light and airy, it had a bit more flavor from a dough perspective, but me and my older son wish we had more than 2. It is just a little more eggy from what I researched, but it wasn't like it tasted like egg. It was pleasant, light, chewy, sweet, and a almost perfect balance of sweetness. If I had to guess it had less sugar in the dough itself than the normal raised. Get this now! Puffy cream chocolate/white filled, this was decent. once again choc not my favorite, but it was good. Solid filling, not over, and not under. Nothing worse than a filled donut that cant contain filling or nowhere to be found. They have it right on with these. The powder sugar on it was nice. WHITE cream was fine. Again nothing I would drive the distance for. Almost like a marshmallow cream texture, but lacking in flavor, think a touch more vanilla or hint of almond extract could make it pop. But overall not for me.

Twist donut - the glazed twist is great. With it being more braided form of raised it was great, more chew and the pockets of fluffy center is really good. The donut is big. Got plain glaze and sugar both being good based on preference. I did not get a long john due to it being another raised donut and I have had these and smaller circle donuts. I really like the glaze here. I would do glaze over sugar if u are not sure. The glaze is a good thickness and straight up delight.

Apple fritter - these were fine, nothing I would go there specifically for. They are good fritter, but donut star takes the cake on that one. The fritter was a good size, flatter than I would have expected. Like most fritters, I would like to see more apples, but that is me. The fritter itself was good flavor, could almost use a touch more cinnamon, but otherwise the glaze is well coated and the profile was solid. Worth getting.

Cake donut - got for my kids, it was yummy. I dont like cake donuts feel like they all taste the same, everywhere. These were not that. They were light and fluffy cake center with a nice fried outside. I really liked it, and would even had eaten one for myself if I had more than 2. They were awesome, if u like cake donuts, do yourself a favor and get these, if u dont like them, give these a try.

Bear claw - donut like the raised, was delicious, it is filled properly, all the contents were filled well. The filling seemed like normal apple pie filling not overly apple filled, seems pretty standard for a bear claw. Would not be a regular order, but would throw it in from time to time. The more jelly pie filling texture is not my favorite, making an apple compote with higher apple to jelly ratio would be better. Chocolate cream donut, it was like a Boston cream pie as a donut. It was a great cream in the middle. The flavor was spot on. The combo was spot on. Really liked this donut. This is the cream I would like in their staple puffy cream donut. The cream was a nice vanilla flavor, right amount of sweet. This was great. Highly recommend. Lemon filled, I like lemon baked goods. Get them often. The lemon filling was solid. Rest of fruit filled...

These are hands down the best donuts I've ever had! I've had a lot of donuts in my life and I love trying new places, and this is my absolute favorite in the Twin Cities and in the US as a whole. A lot of donut places these days have raised donuts that are just too dense, like a sad mushy bagel. Puffy Cream has the softest, lightest, and most delicious raised donuts I've ever had - think fresh, warm Krispy Kreme glazed donuts, but better! The cake donuts are amazingly crispy on the outside but unbelievably soft on the inside. They don't give me the heavy, gross feeling that a lot of other donuts give me. They are absolutely flawless and there is truly something for everyone there, including ham and cheese croissants and delicious coffee. Plus, they always put free donut holes in the box and they are the perfect treat to pop in your mouth as you drive home. The family that owns this shop is incredibly kind and works so hard to put out an amazing selection of classic delicious donuts. I live in Minneapolis and have driven out to Eagan twice in the past week to get these amazing donuts. Do yourself a favor and make the trip!!! They are the most delicious donuts for really reasonable prices - honestly, I would buy these donuts if they were 2 or 3 times more expensive than they are now. That's how good they are. Thank you Puffy Cream for the best...

I'm not a big fan of donuts, but this place, I LOVE. I love everything about it. They were so kind, referred me as "honey" (love Asian mamas!) Lol. They were so caring and patient. Their service is beyond all. I went in this morning to try some donuts, I wanted a dozen donut holes ($2 for a dozen), and I also picked out 5 other donuts. I wasn't clear with my words, so she put the wrong donuts in the bag, it was my fault I didn't check the bags before I checked out and left. When I got in the car, I realized my strawberry cream filled donut was missing from the bunch. I went back into the store to make another transaction for my strawberry cream filled donut, but she told "it's ok, honey! Take the donut, I won't charge you." 😎 when I got back to my car, I checked my donut bags once more and realized she had already given me 3 dozen donuts for the price of one and then a free strawberry cream filled donut! How awesome is that?! Anyway, in total, I paid 7$ for 7 donuts and 3 dozens of donut holes. I'm very satisfied and their donuts are so delish!! I will...

Remember the old style neighborhood bakeries? Puffy Cream Donuts will take you home to those delightful smells of carmeled donuts and jelly filled pasteries. When you walk in you are instantly assaulted by the tantalizing smell of all those tasty goodies. Having driven from Rochester to the Twin Cities VA for tests and having not had breakfast, I decided to Google donuts near me. Puffy Cream Donuts showed more distant than others but with more stars. PCD did not disappoint. To the contrary, not only coffee and the awesome pasteries I ordered, but hot fresh glazed donut holes were added free to my order. From the moment I walked in and smelled the bakery, to the immediate and friendly greeting, to the final taste experience itself.... simply awesome. Thanks PCD

Plan ahead note: Sometimes there’s a line on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so be ready to wait a couple minutes (it moves quickly). Also, the later in the day you go, the more likely they’ll be sold out of the more popular donuts. However, if you call ahead in the morning, they’ll set donuts aside for you! Driving there, you’ll see it tucked in the strip mall along Yankee Doodle, but you enter the parking lot from coachman road and drive around the Marathon. Review Notes: Amazing donuts, amazing staff, truly an Eagan treasure! One time they ran out of the chocolate donut I wanted, but offered to take another donut and dip it in chocolate for me! Plus they always throw a handful of donut holes into your box, which is such a sweet extra touch.
