Whoever is running this place doesn't have the customers happiness in mind. I've been to several smoothie king locations across the country. I frequent South Central, North East and North West regions of the US. This is the first smoothie king location that wasn't able to accommodate a side of protein scoop with my order. First, "Cashier looks like he's in a pickle" then they "team lead/the only other person working there" tell me they can't mix those two options for policy sake, so then I offer to mix it myself and I'm then told it's store policy not to sell the items separate either. I look behind me and I see an over priced tub of protein for sale...this is the equivalent of not being able to order a side of fries at any place I have ever purchased food from in a quarter of a century around the world when they have fresh potatoes fries ready to cook in a jar for sale on the counter.
Lost my service for the next 365 days (hopefully changes will spawn from this before then where I actually get to order from the side menu), and recommendations (I belong to one of the largest families in the city. Primos, if you're reading this be weary, this place won't let you customize ni 🍞.)
I'm still baffled by the experience. 68% of customers leave businesses that are unable to appease customers. If I was working there I would have at the very least try to give a customer like myself several alternative options to try a sell a product not offer the managers number to call...

We stopped here Halloween night at 8:55 pm (they close at 9:00 pm). Right off the bat - the male wearing the fake flight suit had an attitude. It was our first time in a Smoothie King - and may be our last time in one.
My wife ordered one of the refresher - and it was the worst tasting drink I've ever had. It tasted like watered-down dish water with a sprinkle of lemonade added on for taste.
The male that was serving us was wandering around the back - trying to find ingredients to finish our drink - and it seemed to me he had no idea what he was doing - and he had no motivation to ensure our drink was made properly.
I understand coming into a store 5 minutes before closing is not ideal - however - the employee should still give the same customer service to us as they would to someone who came in hours before closing.
This was not a good...
Read moreI placed an order on the app at 739pm and when I tried to Checkout I got a message saying that I couldn't place the order because Smoothie King was closed already or about to close. I drive there and arrive at 747pm. Their sign said open and there were 2 workers in there with a headset. I pull up to the intercom and I get an automated voice saying they're closed. They're supposed to close at 8pm. I understand they need to start cleaning and what not but then maybe they should change their closing time to 730pm for the public. They don't turn off the drive thru lights nor put cones to close the drive thru. Their website store hours and in person store hours are very deceiving. Blessed those who have a job and workers to run an establishment. They need to appreciate every minute they're open...
