I haven't eaten at McDonald's for over a year but for some reason it sounded good today. I went to the McDonald's off Linder and Chindin and ordered a Buttermilk Crispy Chicken meal, medium, and a 4 peice Buttermilk Chicken Tender. Pulled up to window 1, paid, and moved onto window 2, immediately the window opens and I am asked to go to the parking spot out front labeled number 1 because they are dropping fresh chicken for my order. I thought, awesome, I am getting some fresh stuff. I waited just over 10 minutes, a young kid brought it out and I said awesome, thank you man, have a nice day. Unfortunately, I didn't look into the bag to see that I got no receipt, no napkins, and no ketchup or ranch as I requested. My bad I guess. I live maybe a mile from there and by the time I got home and got into my food it was cold, chewy, tough, and completely disgusting. It immediately reminded me why I dont eat at McDonald's. Are people actually eating this garbage or was this just a one off??!! I have never in my life jumped online to complain about anything. EVER. It's just not my style but this was so bad it blew my mind. The chicken was so tough and disgusting it almost made me throw up. The fries were cold as well. The only thing that I ordered that was ok was the Dr. Pepper. But I dont even drink soda and was getting it for a family member. I am mind blown that food like this is being served at all. It's not even food!! Also, I tried to put my money to use by feeding my dog the Tenders because dogs will eat anything and he started out eating it like it was any other food and spit it back out. This isn't a joke. My dog, who will eat anything I give him spit out McDonald's food and looked at me like what in the world did you just try and feed me. Absolutely disgusting. To the point where I am actually angry. Of course I wasn't given a receipt so getting my money back involves effort I just don't care about putting up. In my opinion the 15 or whatever dollars I spent was worth it to remind myself why I don't eat at McDonald's and never will again. I literally cannot describe how gross this food was. I dont know how they are even...
Read moreAlways an issue with my order... ALWAYS. At least they do fix the issue when you bring it to their attention. If you're a missing an item, you gotta drive all the way back... And sometimes that not possible when you're busy with 3 children
My fries are always cold, stale, or I get a bunch of the really hard leftovers at the bottom. When I order a cheeseburgers with NO onions and pickles for my kids... I get cheeseburgers WITH onions and pickles for my kids.. You can imagine how that goes when I'm driving and my kids have to scrape the onions off their burger.
Oh... One more thing. I just went for breakfast this morning. Ordered THREE orders of hot cakes, THREE hash browns, and THREE sweet teas. I received three hotcakes with TWO syrups and five butters, three undercooked hash browns, TWO sweet teas and ONE unsweetened tea. How do you get such a simple order so messed up? Not to mention they didn't give me any napkins or forks/knifes.
I prefer not to go out of my way to a different location, but... Looks like I'll be going to a different McDonalds from now on. Maybe they will have better standards for their service.
I rated 2 stars instead of 1 since they do try to fix the problem, but I don't always have time to drive back to pick up an item THEY forgot to give me. Check your orders before leaving the...
Read moreWent to McDonalds today at 1460 W Chinden Blvd, Meridian, ID 83646. A young lady was delivering an order to a car and held the door for me to enter. Thank you, I said, and held the other door for her to enter.
She went behind the counter and took my order. I said I saw your Spicy Chicken Sandwich on tv and wanted to try one. She said is it the Hot and Spicy Chicken Sandwich? I said, I don't know, pretend I don't work here. Then I asked how many Spicy Chicken Sandwiches do you have? She looked at her screen for a bit and replied one. I said I will have that one. Then I said I'd like the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with lettuce and tomato only. Then she said, Do you want the Chicken? I replied, No, I specifically ordered a chicken sandwich because I didn't want chicken. She looked confused. I said, yes with chicken.
Then a rotund, short, dirty blond woman in her 50's ordering at a Kiosk nearby with a florescent road guard vest on, butted in and was rude. She said I need to apologize. I asked for my money back, biting my tongue. Then she said "You are just a grumpy old man, leave now." I have no idea if she is the manager of the shift or store, but she acted like it.
At any rate, I didn't get to try the new Spicy Chicken.... yes.......
