I went to Spitfire twice during his first week. They have a lot of little kinks to work out as any new restaurant Will. The tacos are awesome! We tried it just about everyone. My favorite is the pork belly taco. You may have to wait, so I highly suggest the chips and queso. I’m not a fan of the salsa, but it’s the style not anything on the food itself. The cocktails are fun and creative. My only complaint is I went two days in a row and the drinks looked and tasted slightly different so they’re still a learning curve. They could’ve been out of ingredients but I’m not quite sure. For example, my husband had the margarita and it was green then the next day my friend ordered the same margarita, and it was black because it had charcoal in it. The wait time is long if it’s more than two. It seems like it’s OK for kids to sit at the bar so I don’t know if that helps if you can find a spot. There’s only six or seven tables on the inside portion and then a few tables on the patio. Some comments I heard a few people say “they should add more tables” but I’m not quite sure where they would go if they added more tables. Overall, I give this place a total thumbs up! It’s a nice change an Eagle .

Where to begin...this place is a real winner. Decided to get a quick drink and that turned into food and I couldn't be happier it did. Cocktails are excellent (tequila focused but not exclusively), and presented well. I had their seasonal taco which was a Cubano taco, RUN don't walk to get this amazing dish. I am serious, don't sleep on this one, it is all the best elements of a Cuban sandwich turned into a taco. The flavors are very authentic, I could have mistaken it for the inside of a Cuban in Miami (ohlf which i have had many) inside a fresh tortilla. Anyway, the guacamole and salsa were excellent as was my friends burrito. I would add that the prices are very fair and I felt was a value for the quality. I would be remiss to not mention the service, our server Seb was excellent, attentive, and very friendly. Finally, I rarely have a dessert but their churros...insane, that's the only word I can think of. Eagle is lucky to have such a great spot like this. I think their slogan kind of fits them well "authentically made inauthentic tacos" because the combos of flavors are quite unique so definitely give them a try.

Updated to add that one of the food truck employees approached us asking about our food and we let him know about the spice level. He was aware that it's a consistent problem. This is for the Spitfire Taco + Tequila food truck I was so excited for this food truck, but it ended up being a disappointment. Overpriced for small portions that are too greasy and spicy. I ordered the al pastor burrito in a bowl had to give up on it after a few bites because it was swimming in enough grease to soak through the bowl and far too spicy. My husband had a few bites and couldn't believe how spicy it was! I decided to just eat the Street Corn side instead and it too was too spicy for myself or my husband. Both my kids were still hungry after the kids tacos as well. After everything was said and done we ended up going to find food elsewhere on our way home (nothing like paying for dinner twice!) I'll stick to the local authentic taco trucks instead.

Where have I been in life!?! Came to Spitfire Tacos today for lunch and had the best time!! This place used to be an old burger joint. It got a nice glow up! Quite the venue now! It's bright, colorful and exciting. We got sat at one of the booths right next to the bar. They have bottles of spirits beautifully placed. The bar would be fun to sit at for a fun drink or a casual date night. We were here for lunch and this place was buzzin! It's nice to see do many people out eating and having a good time!

Our server came and greeted us. She got our drinks ordered and shortly came back to take our food orders. I got a Huckleberry mocktail for my drink. For starters we ordered the chips with queso, guac and salsa. For our tacos we grabbed the quesabirria taco and shrimp taco.

My Huckleberry mocktail was delicious! It was sweet and tart. It was garnished with a juicy huckleberry and a dried lime piece. The chips and dip were fabulous! I enjoyed the fresh quac and queso. It was hard to stop eating the tajin dusted chips. And then you add queso to that chip...... so good! The tacos came out a little after and boy did they look fantastic! The quesabirria taco was devine! It's prepared a little differently compared to other birria tacos. They melt the cheese into the meat and not grill the taco itself. It worked! That baby was filled with the meaty cheesy goodness. Topped with a delicious salsa and onion mix. The consume that came with it was savory. It added a good element to the quesabirria. The shrimp taco was awesome! The shrimp was savory and crunchy. The cabbage slaw on top gave it a nice crunchy element. The sauce gave it a creaminess to the bite. Both of these tacos were chef's kiss!

I'm happy I got to try this joint out! The staff was fantastic! From the bartender to the server, they were on top of their A game! The food was phenomenal. The venue is fun and relaxing. I look forward to going back to...

Picture this: You’re dining at a fine establishment, the food is divine, the ambiance is just right, but then Brandon, our server, steps into our evening, and suddenly, the meal is no longer the star of the show. Brandon wasn’t just good at his job; he was a maestro, a virtuoso of the service world! His approach to service was like watching a ballet, but instead of pirouettes, he was delivering dishes and wit with a precision that could only be described as culinary choreography.

Now, let me set the scene further. With a mere introduction, he transformed our night from wild to wondrous. Not only did he ensure our glasses were never empty, but he filled our evening with laughter and a sense of belonging that’s hard to come by.

The food? Exquisite, yes, but Brandon’s recommendations were like receiving a treasure map where X marks the spot of culinary delights. His descriptions were so vivid; we could taste the dishes before they even arrived. And when they did, oh, they lived up to every word.

To Brandon’s boss: You’ve got a gem brighter than the fanciest chandelier. This man doesn’t just serve food; he serves memories, garnished with laughter and seasoned with soul. In a world where you can dine anywhere, we choose to return here, eagerly awaiting what Brandon has on the menu, both in cuisine and in conversation.

In conclusion, dining here isn’t just about the food or the place; it’s about the Brandon experience - a blend of humor, excellence, and genuine care that makes you feel like you’re the most important person in the room. Bravo, Brandon, for not just doing your job, but elevating our dining experience to something we’ll recount with smiles for...

The atmosphere was wonderful in this place. The drinks were pretty amazing. We had a couple different kinds while we were there now the ceviche is kind of expensive for the amount that you get and it’s not quite like having authentic to be either. I think if they would’ve done The shrimp more like a standard CBJ this would’ve been amazing with the mango sauce that they use in it. The tacos were pretty good and really decent size. I’d see pretty fair price for what you’re getting with those tacos. I was not a fan, though it was some kind of red paste kind of oily, not the standard texture or salsa that comes to mind for chips I don’t think it was the worst flavored salsa I’ve ever had but it’s definitely not what I was expecting for some salsa. Other than that it was wonderful food wonderful experience. I would definitely go there again more like maybe a girls night out and getting some drinks I would try some of their other foods like the burrito that looked pretty good. Some other salad looked pretty good but I saw other people in the restaurant had it and they said it was greasy or oily from whatever sauce or flavoring was used so as you get down to the bottom of the salad, a little too covered servers were very friendly and brought out food fairly quickly especially for it being a busier weekend day I am pretty sure it was a Saturday that we went other than that definitely a place to go. Try worthwhile for the drinks and what not but some things Are a little pricier and some of it could use some critiquing...
