I was in the Arby's drive-thru today during lunch time. I ordered two chicken and swiss sandwiches and a beef and cheddar classic medium combo. I added a small fry to the order. The guy the window said it would be no problem to add the small fry. I used cash instead of using my card again and it took me about 45 seconds to get the change and I have to use my card again. The next thing you know when my back comes to me it is missing the medium fry but has the small fry. I then tell the guy at the window that we have one fry missing. He closes the window and then a lady comes to the window holding a small fry and says y'all are holding up my line wasting my time. Why when she's handing the fries to me she hands them so fast and aggressively that one big huge fry curly fry lands on my leg. She admittedly said that the fries just came out of the hot grease. My leg ended up getting burnt so I pulled up. When I pulled up an older lady came out with the actual medium missing fry and I asked to speak to the manager. Turns out that the manager is the lady that handed me the fry and made it fall on my leg. I asked her what is she going to do about my leg getting burnt by the big curly fry from the hot grease. She then aggressively said what do you want me to do about it. I said well what if I need to go to the hospital because of this burn and then she takes off aggressively and dismisses everything I said. What she should have done is asked me if I wanted to make an incident report and actually acted like a manager and actually had customer service skills instead of acting like a tyrant at the window. Now my day is ruined and I also am burned. That fry was very big. For some reason she felt as if she could disrespect me and dismiss what I said and what she was literally there to witness herself. It's on...
Read moreLast evening, Sunday 8/14 at ~ 7:45 pm, I went to this Easley Arby's for a drive thru dinner order. Like most fast food restaurants these days, they probably have staffing issues and had a sign at the order window requesting patience due to this issue. It took me 6 minutes to get to the order window (not too bad). It then took 10 MINUTES to get my order taken! (BAD) My order was just 1 meal + an additional sandwich. After ordering, it took 15 MINUTES to get to the pick up window! (VERY BAD) At the window, I paid, received my items (correctly) and drove away in 90 seconds. I ate my meal at home, 10 minutes later. My total time exceeded 30 minutes to get fast food. I have had much better experiences at several local competitors. I won't be patronizing this Arby's anytime soon if they can't do significantly better. One final note. The receipt didn't seek any feedback on my experience. So, I called the phone number on the receipt to share my thoughts with management. Not surprisingly, nobody...
Read moreWaiting in line for a bit was understandable. After repeating three times the two meals we wanted LARGE, we still got small. Had to ask for the second drink after being handed the bag and told have a good day. Then it was small, so we waited for another large drink. The third party with us wanted just a sandwich but that was wrong when he opened it. A beef and cheddar with no cheddar isn't a beef and cheddar. We didn't have time to wait on the order to be corrected on fries and didn't find about the sandwich until after we left. On the bright side, arby's did better than taco bell or McDonald's because at least we received the proper number of sandwiches. Though we were given nearly a dozen straws for two drinks, I'd rather have had just two straws and the proper order. Talking to coworkers while taking the order always ends this way. Three times repeated and three times was not the charm. Great food but can't get what you ordered! It'll be a while before we...
