Smoothie King — Restaurant in Easley

If I could give 0 stars for this review I would. I have been coming here for 4 years and have had issues here and there but never bad enough to say anything about. Tonight we got two strawberry hulk smoothies and they tasted like unripe bananas and nothing else, to the point that our mouths were getting cottony. We drove around and kindly asked them to remake them as per the smoothie king policy. They simply poured them back into the blender added a few strawberries and gave them back to us. We asked for different smoothies, Apple Kiwi Kale, because the first ones weren’t palatable. We received two cups of ice slush with a hint of the taste of what it should taste like that didn’t even fill up the cup. We went back to the window to simply give the cups and smoothies back and ask for a refund which we were told “because we remade them we aren’t going to give you a refund” I asked to speak to a manager and explained the situation to which the manager said “sorry because i’m not there and they have already been remade i’m not going to give you a refund” I offered to send a picture of the smoothies as they were unacceptable and she said she didn’t need a picture because she wasn’t going to refund them. Overall extremely disappointed the whole process took almost an hour as we waited almost 25 minutes for them to be remade. All I wanted was a refund as $14 + a $2 tip is way too much to pay for something that can’t be consumed. I have reached out to corporate and am hoping for...

I got a smoothie for breakfast this morning, and since it’s Friday, you get medium smoothies for five dollars, not a bad deal when they’re seven dollars other days. I tried the Pineapple Surf at my great niece’s suggestion. The first few sips were good, then I started getting pieces of pineapple fibers(don’t know what else to call it). The smoothie had a good taste, but I couldn’t take the pieces of pineapple that didn’t get blended. The first two smoothies I tried did not have this fiber thing going on in them. My first introduction to a smoothie from Smoothie King, my great niece bought for me. The Island Impact was very good, the second smoothie I bought for myself, another Island Impact it was good too, no pieces of anything coming through the straw. I give those two smoothies five stars. I took a chance on another smoothie this afternoon and got an Island Impact. Thinking that maybe it was one of two things, the morning crew didn’t make smoothies as good as the evening crew(that’s still possible because it was the same people!!) or it was the kind of smoothie I ordered. The Island Impact had the same pineapple fiber thing going on as the Pineapple Surf did this morning. I think it was the crew making them today aren’t as good as my other two smoothie experiences. I wasted ten dollars and some change on smoothies that I didn’t drink. Two stars for today’s attempts. I am officially done with Smoothie...

The angel food smoothie is amazing, I get it every time I go and it never disappoints. However this location has hand written signs posted saying card only, which makes no sense to me and is very inconvenient. I have however had numerous employees take cash from me as long as I have correct change, as they say they dont have any change on hand. Well today I go with cash and the girl working the drive thru absolutely refuses to take it from me. I say I've done it multiple occasions with a few different people and she starts to interrogate me as to who they are and what they look like. She had the worst attitude I have encountered at this location, it started at the speaker with her lack of patience and continued when I got to the window. Everyone else I've dealt with at this location has been polite and easy to deal with. It's people like her that will keep someome...
