Bellacino's Pizza & Grinders — Restaurant in Easley

My wife and l have eaten at Bellacino's numerous times. They have a huge selection of Grinders (oven baked "sub" type sandwiches) which are delicious. They make their own bread fresh every day and it is also delicious. By the way, they don't scrimp on the ingredients... they put a lot of meat, cheese, vegetables, etc. on their sandwiches. Because they make their Grinders one at a time from fresh ingredients, you will have to wait a few minutes for it to be ready... but when it comes it is hot out of the oven. They also have a wide selection of pizzas to choose from, as well, and are very good. Also served hot right out of the oven. They offer take out, but no delivery. Their selection of beverages is family friendly and they do have a limited selection of bottled beers for those wanting something other than a soft drink or iced tea. It is a clean restaurant to boot. Very good choice for a meal and their prices are at the low end of moderate. I give them a thumbs up and recommend you give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. In fact, you'll probably put this restuarant on your list of places to go to for a good, hot, freshly made meal. Family did eat here about once a week, that just ended when I stopped in to grab two grinders. Son had a school event and was just grabbing something on the way. Simple order, only wanted turkey and honey mustard. Stated plainly only wanted honey mustard, get home and the sandwiches have everything thing that comes on it. Lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, didn’t seem to have the honey mustard. Anyway, things happen but kids will not eat it like that.

When returning the food for a refund is when I made the decision not to patronize this establishment again. The on shift manager I assume, said he didn’t hear me say that but he wasn’t the person that took the order. He didn’t come over to the cash register until the girl taking the order had a problem ringing it up. I didn’t know I needed to repeat the order to him also.

The little kids in the back started talking loudly about how they didn’t understand someone not getting the vegetables on their grinder. Well kids I didn’t order for chuckleheads in the back to eat. The paying customer usually dictates what’s on the sandwich....

Bellacinos in Easley is not practicing social distancing and they have the option of ordering online, but when you try to order at Bellacinos.com, they aren’t taking online orders. Why have this posted on the door when it’s not true. I’ll order from Papa Johns where they have online ordering and contactless delivery.

UPDATE APRIL 29, 2022

I ordered two large specialty pizzas online at Bellacinos. It’s been a while since I had their pizza, my great nieces came over for a visit, and decided they wanted Bellacinos pizza. The total cost of the two pizzas was $47.94. I ordered a meat eater and a barbecue chicken pizza, the pizzas were only ok. They didn’t taste like they once tasted. They’re still not stingy with their toppings the toppings were plentiful, but the crust wasn’t good and it was tough. The pizza flavor was ok, but over all not as good as it use to be. I’ll continue going to Papa John’s. I think this was my final visit to Bellacinos Pizza and Grinders....
