So first time at any Panda Express. Never really heard anything good or bad about this place but decided to try it out! Extremely sorry I did!! Went through the drive through. Explained it was my first time and the girl seemed patient enough. I ordered rangoon of course they were out. Not a good start but it happens - evidently from the reviews, it happens often. Order sesame chicken and went to pay. There is a rolled up paper sign in the window - due to coin shortage blah blah blah. Didn’t really apply to me because I was paying a 8.17 bill with 8.25 and told her to just keep the change. So she said “I will go to the front register to get the change” - what? They can pay cash inside but not in the drive though?! Then as she tried to hand me the change, someone starts scolding her for taking cash. Of course the coward did it to where I could only hear the conversation but not address them. It upset the cashier and she ended up basically throwing the change on the ground - don’t care since I told her to keep it anyway. My point is, I left aggravated and that should never be when you stopped to get something to eat. Restaurants either take legal tender or shut down. Because of the laziness of a manager and the rudeness of the manager, I didn’t feel like eating anymore! I...
Read moreI come to this Panda Express from time to time. I am generally never greeted. It has made me lessen my visits; however, on today's visit per usual, I was not greeted when I entered. I came during dinner time at 6:20pm so the workers were feverishly making plates behind the line. I waited patiently to be acknowledged at the checkout; as my bar for customer service in this location is very low. The lady came up to the register and said "What?"... and then looked at me as if I was bothering her. Honestly, if I had not already ordered and paid online, I would have left. I began to say that I had an online order and she yelled, "What?" again so I repeated louder. She asked "the name?" and after mispronouncing it a couple of times she went off to search for my order only to come back and ask to see my receipt. I showed it and she still did not find the order. Luckily for me, another employee saved the interaction and gave much better customer service; thanking me for my order and wishing me a good evening. I won't be back to this Panda Express. Easley has some great Asian spots, which offer a better...
Read moreFirst time at this restaurant today. I ordered the bigger plate and got the chow mein and rice split. Then the terriaki chicken, orange chicken, and the chicken and mushroom. I also got the passion fruit mango tea to go. I do not live far from the restaurant and by the time I arrived home the food was already cold. The terriaki chicken was burnt. The orange chicken was not sweet like the employee said but it was tangy like orange peel. Very gross. The xhow mein was good with flavor but cold. The chicken and mushroom was okay but you could tell it had been sitting out for awhile. The rice was very dry. The reason I am rating this a one star is because the employees were slammed and tried their best to hurry along for the customers and the star is for their effort. I think if they had better management on how to get the food cooked in time for the customers without it setting out too long to get cold maybe they could have had a better chance to impress me with this new restaurant, but like I said first time eating here and I was not...
