I really don't like leaving negative reviews because it will always be perceived as one-sided, however it is good in another perspective so you can warn others and perhaps a system in their decision whether or not to eat here.
$68.00 for 4 adults and one child meals, with NO extras, like extra sauces, which is ridiculous, because now they will only give you two 2oz little containers per meal and 35 cents extra per for each extra. At this particular store on this specific day, when we went to purchase extra sauce in their specific custom containers, and therefore said they are not available, and of course when asked to put the sauce in a drinking cup and/or another container the employees stated that the owners do not allow that and said the owners will only allow to purchase extra sauce in their specific containers (again with the exception of the two ounce small container). So we asked could they give us a discount or extra of the 2 oz sauces for compensation since this was there issue of being out.and would not give any compensation being their fault and not being able to provide, which they respond the owners will not allow it!!!! If that's not worse then also you're not even allowed to pick up a bottle of sauce from the counter and simply put some on your food directly. You are forced in our case to purchase several of these 35 cent 2 oz containers. FYI, this price does not include any other type items like drinks or miscellaneous side food items. This was for three large Southwest bowls and one large Cuban bowl and one kids chicken finger meal. When did this become almost $70 this is not a five-star restaurant as if you are dining at a French restaurant here. I almost forgot another main point, the quantity has been reduced I get the times are hard but I think they've reached an extreme side of basically ridiculous. Very disappointing. The quality taste of the food is also changed perhaps due to more speed cooking or just getting things out or maybe even shaving some pennies off of how it is cooked I'm not sure and not confirm only the taste is not as it once was a couple years ago. It's like it's more about the money than it is about your providing wonderful good tasting food to your customers. No I'm not saying you need to make a living and then some but at some point this is ridiculous and unwelcoming.
We ended up having to cancel and changing the order and only picking up two meals.
Now we know why the word of mouth is not many people want to go here like in...

There was just a few people inside the business and only 1 car in front of me at drive thru and they had ordered well b4 I got there. Pulled in sat at drive thru speaker for 3 mins and no one said a word I finally said hello anyone there and a girl said hold on another 3 mins and she comes back what's your order. 1 south of border bowl 2 burgers and fries . She hurriedly gives total no ty drive around nothing. Pull around wait another 5 mins at window as I watch them cover food bowls in tinfoil I guess out of lids, finally same worker younger redhead comes to window doesn't confirm total just asks for card takes it 2 mins later opens window again gives card no receipt not even a offer. 5 more mins and she brings food hands it to me and at this point I'm irritated at her poor customer service and apparent disdain for her job and anyone around so I ask for my receipt she closes window then comes back hands it and then turns around closes window again no thanks have a good night nothing. I've been in service industry I know it's not ideal at times. But I always put my best face forward and represented the company signing my paychecks to the best of my ability. The portion sizes have decreased and prices increased since they moved their location in easley and the service has been subpar since as well. The food is good but u have to deal with the poor attitude and 4 out of last 5 trips something on the order has been wrong. Sad bc I loved this place once. Gave it one more try 8/26/2025 still awful in all ways posted this to the tropical grille corporate( left message for call back on corporate email but don't expect to hear back) My family and I visited your easley location 8/26/25 arrived placed order on kiosk for to go. Watched my burger and chicken sandwhich sit in the window for over 20 mins with the lid not even closed while the girl placed the south of the border bowl my husband order to the side I asked finaly 25 to 30 mins later for my status of food they realized it was all done and indeed gave me food that had been sitting in a window not under warmer for 20 mins I asked for manager his name was Blake refused to give his last name when I asked. He said im sorry but I cant help you. So basically we're eatting cold food after seriously dissapointing crap service. We gave it another try after last disaster several several months ago. Read moreI’m always eating at MIYABI jr Express BUT today I decided to try this place …. Big mistake! Walk in…place an order I waited for 25 minutes for my order never call my name got tired of waiting so I ask if my order was ready?? The young lady there Told me they gave my order to someone else 😳 and they offer to make another sandwich for me but it was gonna take probably another 25 minute 😤so I declined and I asked for a refund so they gave me a small piece of paper saying VOID TRANS .. at this point I haven’t got a refund yet. Definitely I will never go back!! They have a bunch of incompetent Young women working there.even though the “district manager” (Adrien??)was there Saw me that I was sitting there doing nothing not eating and never crossed his mind to ask me if I needed help or to check on my order and at the end when he saw me complaining that i need it a refund receipt NOT a piece of paper saying VOID TRANS instead of asked me if everything was OK what can I do for you…or apologize He asked the cashier if everything was fine.! He never apologize for wasting 30 minutes of my life. If thats how they conduct business i will never trust them...
