We stayed in these condos August 2022 and the room was worn and dirty all for $500 / night. See pictures. The couch and carpet were so dirty we sat on our beach towels. The patio furniture was pool furniture and even that was broken. The road is very load at night. When I contacted Northern MI escapes they told me they know the condos need repairs but were unable to do anything about it. There are much better condos available on this same strip of the West Bay for that price.

This place is amazing. We stayed in Unit 105. Walks out on the beach, first floor, super clean and renovated. It's great. Perfect location. Close to everything. We booked on VRBO as these units are privately owned by different people and each one is different. Unit 105 was super clean and nice and modern. Stainless appliances, granite counters and nice furniture. The entire condo units have a pool, and hor tub too in the warmer months

I don't know why anyone would complain about this place. It was clean, had lots of utensils, comfy towels and blankets, pots and pans, glasses, the furniture was comfortable and the views were pretty nice. The beach was nice and clean, chairs were fine, but there are no covered chairs. The water is crystal clear. You can rent a boat, jetskis, and other things right on the beach.

These are emails between myself and the Beach Condo Hotel, my last email has never been answered ||||||To:info@beachcondohotel.com||Aug 6 at 7:16 PM||We checked into room 326 Sunday evening 8/4 and among the first things we did was run a load of dishes in the dishwasher. Unloading the dishwaser we noticed that the kitchen floor had some standing water and assumed it was from the dishwasher. We came to find out that the water was actually coming from the refrigerator. I reported it to the front desk and when the room was cleaned Tuesday the kitchen floor had been wiped up only to have standing water a few hours later. This is a follow up to the verbal notice that I had given to the front desk.||Thank you,||Scott ||---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------||The Beach Condo's ||To:'Scott ||Aug 6 at 7:33 PM||Hello Scott,||Thank you for following up. We have informed our maintenance man of the issue and hope to get it resolved quickly!||Thank you The Beach Condominiums staff ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To:The Beach Condo's Aug 9 at 9:39 PM Regarding the puddles of standing water on the kitchen floor, nothing was done to correct the issue by the time we left on Friday, 8/9, from the time you were notified on Tuesday 8/6. It was obvious from the water and rust around the shelf support post by the crisper drawers in the refrigerator that this leak was not new and should have been reported or noticed by housekeeping and fixed before we checked in. Since all the rooms were the same price when we were booking our stay it is not right that we should have to pay the same price as rooms without water leaks, especially since the problem was not corrected after it was reported by me. I would want to have a 15% discount applied to my bill and have a $248.91 credit issued to the credit card the was billed by you. ||Thank...

We've been staying at The Beach Condominium every fall for many years. Started bringing my sister-in-law and elderly Mom there years ago and we always loved our rooms, the location, the friendly staff, and the great services. Not so much anymore, tho .. the price increases have been quite dramatic over the past few years. Perhaps we're more aware of just how much those increases have become because we've been staying at this same location over the course of so many years. We're well aware all the other hotels/condos/lodgings have also experienced drastic price increases...it's no secret that all business need to make a profit. Unfortunately, it's become a real challenge for us to justify staying at Beach Condos. When we stayed last year, the entire facility/exterior looked very "tired" and in need of much updating ... some the of units, also. Not only has the price/rate drastically increased, the services have diminished .. practically disappeared. And to tack on a $90 cleaning fee seems a bit over the top...(especially when we're required to empty our own garbage...which, by the way, we really don't have a problem with --we do that at home, but we don't get paid $90 to do it.) Guess we're still stuck in the "old school" mode where we expect more "bang for our buck." The excessive price increases have become discouraging. Rates are so much higher, while the "services" offered are few and far between. Sorry to say, we'll likely be forced to visit the TC area less often .. or perhaps attempt to find a less pricey location to stay. Apologies for the mini rant. (At least it still has the location as...

It was quite the experience, When we pulled up I had my doubts about it. The place next door looked stunning, the Beach Condominium looked like a flop house. ( I understood why you had to pay up front 1/2 and the remaining balance 14 days prior to arrival.) THERE is NO REFUND so when you see the dump you can’t get your money back. We stayed in room #105 what a great view. End of good things. The bad! Shower was so nasty we had to ware flip flops to use it. (Plus it had hard patch’s in it) The bathroom sink was nasty and cracked, if it was cleaned it was just wiped out! The jacuzzi was full of patched holes, and cracked, nasty would be saying, a good thing about it. Looked like dogs bath tubs. The Ugly Cobwebs in lower right corner of beach patio door. Very nasty and full of dead fly’s. The floor was so dirty that I took a paper towel and wet it and wiped the floor it was black. They never mop these floors. 3 I took my finger and wiped dust me on top of the TV stand.it had not been cleaned before we checked in! Bed went unmade for 2 days, really! Broken outlets cover by the bed! ( god help a little kid sticks their fingers in it!) Never took out trash till the third day! So I would not even recommend anyone stay here! But if the are paying you to stay, that might be different. They charged us $1,800.00 or $360.00 per day. Great hotels close with better rooms and amities, for$340.00 per night. Thank god I paid with American Express, like any good CC you can file a dispute for good reason and be refunded your charge. I AM!!!! I am leaving after my third day, and going to a...
