I recently visited a Spice paradise (South Indian) restaurant with high hopes for a satisfying meal. While my experience had some positives, there were also a few areas that could be improved. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Unfortunately, the floors didn’t look very tidy, and the glass I was given had stains. For me, a clean and welcoming environment sets the tone for the dining experience, so this was a bit disappointing. When I ordered a basic uthappa, I expected it to be served with chutney and sambar, as is standard. However, I was only given the uthappa. When I asked for the sambar, the staff’s response was, “Do you want it?” This left me surprised, since sambar should automatically be part of the dish. On the positive side, I have no complaints about the food’s taste and quality. The flavors were authentic and enjoyable, which is ultimately the most important part of any restaurant experience. The restaurant is also family-friendly, making it a good spot for kids, and they offer parking facilities, which adds to the convenience. Overall, while the food quality met expectations, the cleanliness and service could definitely be improved. With a little more attention to detail in these areas, this restaurant could become a much better dining destination.

They advertise everywhere as lunch buffet so I was disappointed to walk in and find that buffet is on weekends only. My review is based on weekday a la carte lunch only. First off, naan is NOT included in the meal and you have to pay for it separately. I ordered the Hyderabad goat curry and palak paneer. The goat curry was flavorful but way too much bone and not much meat. The palak paneer....as you can see in the picture it was the color of an Easter basket grass. It was pastel green, and a cream consistency. It tasted like I was eating cream with green food coloring. In the menu it is described as "fresh spinach and cream" so I was wondering where the spinach was, because as you can see in the picture, there was NO spinach in that. I would not come here again and would not recommend to anyone. I don't know how the weekend lunch buffet is, but based on the weekday lunch I was very disappointed.

Nice place, friendly staff but little crowded. Ambience is average don't expect too much, but I really liked Big LED TV and live Cricket match. Due to lack of space there is little gap present in between tables but it's managble. For vegiterian options are very limited compared to non-veg it's like 2:1 ratio but whatever veg options I tried everything was tasty. Staff was trying their best to take care of each customer. They also serve hot Dosa. My wife eats non veg she also liked the food but she told me few non veg dishes and Biryani was too spicy to eat. buffet cost Adults - $18.99 and kids (under 7) -$ 9.99 Enough parking space 10+ cars

First off.. I don't know how the others review this restaurant if it opened today (17th) not three days ago. Anyway, My wife, kid and I thought the food was amazingly good.

Our appetizer, Veg-Samosa was excellent!! Fresh with a nice crunch on the outside, tasty and pleasant texture stuffing on the inside. Also, the condiments were very good but spicy, especially the tamarind sauce. By the way, all three of us had no problem handling the heat(spicy)for it was mild to medium.

Next.. we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala for my kid which he loved and can't wait to go back lol. It comes with Basmati Rice. We ordered two Naan Breads to dip with, so good. The orange sauce was creamy, a bit spicy with chunks of red and green peppers and of course the chicken. You can't get away with using dark meat in this dish. It was ALL tender white meat, most restaurants cut corners.

For my wife... She ordered a Masala Dosa. The Rice crepe was thin, flakey and crispy. The Masala inside was creamy but lumpy with Veggies as expected, FABULOUS!! The Sambar and Coconut Chutney were amazing. The Sambar was not like having Campbell soup. Their were lentils hand blended To give the soup a nice texture. It will be the "go to" for my wife.

For me... I ordered the Goat Biryani. I tell you, their is no short cuts with this chef. He used straight up Basmati and mixed it with (I believe to be) chopped Cilantro for texture which is brilliant. The Goat was flavorful and tender not overly goaty just awesome with a nice egg and onion garnish.

The Restaurant itself was nice and clean. The chairs have removable cushions if desire and lighting was enough to see what you're eating. The staff were friendly and attentive but needs polishing which I'm sure with time will be proficient.

So, with all that said, I Really hope Spice Paradise continues to give the absolute best ingredients in their cooking to our community. I'm confident with saying, they are going...

Was in a mood to try something vegetarian on a Friday evening, so I called up Kathiyawadi Kitchen to order take-out. No one picked up the phone even after several retries. So, I got a chance to try this new place. I ordered a hot & sour soup, fried rice, ghee roast & bhendi masala. Loved all the items ordered including the chutneys & the sambhar that came as a side for the ghee roast dosa. The food was ready at the promised time. The waiters & the receptionist were very respectful, polite and courteous. I noticed that they were taking good care of the customers seated in the restaurant that evening. It wasn't too crowded. I will go there again to try out some Hyderabadi non-veg items.

I think the ghee roast that I ordered was pricey - 10 dollars for a dosa without the potato stuffing is on the higher side in my opinion.

Please read my next review posted after a couple of weeks below:

OK - I had rated these people 5 stars after my first two visits. Today 16th of March, after my third visit, I am taking back 4 stars, that I had given them. I ordered Egg Biryani. I came home and opened the container. It smelt so bad - none of the members of my family wanted to touch it after smelling it. They have started selling old stuff, that is fit to be thrown out. The egg in the biryani looked so rubbery and shrunk - maybe because of heating and reheating. Very very disappointing - in just a matter of two weeks. I immediately called up the restaurant. The owner explained to me that, that is how biryani smells and claimed that he uses the same masala for all the different kinds of biryani - Mutton, Chicken, Vegetable etc. etc.

I am sure I will not go there again if that is the...
