This Olive Garden at this location is decent. The waiters have always been friendly and very helpful. Their managers also show up at least once and asks us if everything is to par. Only problem I have with Olive Garden is food options for vegetarians are slim. No vegetable options in any of their pasta or create you own. We have asked vegetable in make your own pasta and they have obliged but there is no thought put into it. Please look at one of the pictures of side of Mac and Cheese. The Broccoli is steamed or boiled. We have asked them to Sauté veggie but they never do. Not too difficult to toss in a little garlic, salt and pepper and flash cook them in olive oil. Most veg options are something with either cream of cheese. They use to have mushroom ravioli but that’s gone too. I can’t complain regarding the taste of their food, but at this day and age when being vegetarian has become more mainstream, chain restaurant like these needs to revisit the options they serve.

We were shopping around the area and wanted to stop by for lunch. We were greeted and seated . Served with warm bread sticks to start off , we always are a fan of their breadsticks, being super hungry all were gone before they took the order for main course. We went with spinach and artichoke dip for apetizer, then eggplant parmigiana and Alfredo fettuccine for main course. While ordering the server asked the question is it a lunch portion . Boy o boy I am glad he asked that and we said yes !! Spinach and artichoke was done perfectly and the chips that came with that was the highlight and we enjoyed it. Eggplant parmigiana was the best of all dishes we had would try that anytime there. Alfredo fettuccine was perfectly done too Definitely worth checking out!!

Wow this place surprised me! I'm not the biggest italian fan but I loved everything I tried here. Got the flatbread del giorno, papperdelle pasta, and the cavatelli di ricotta. The flatbread was margherita style and was vey light and crispy! It wasn't overly cheesy which I enjoyed. The truffle flavor in the papperdelle paired very well and the pasta texture of the cavatelli dish was good. The ambience is also great- flower decor was pretty and felt trendy. My friend and I were walk-ins on a saturday dinner around 6pm and were able to get seated right away which was also lucky.

Before I start my rant. This isn’t the first time I have had a horrible experience here. Even though I am a server and bartender and I try to give everyone the benefit of doubt, but this was honestly the worst service my boyfriend and I have received out to eat within the last 2 years! We arrived around 4pm.It must have been Codys first day in a restaurant ever!! Working in the industry for 8 years I knew right away when we were greeted it was gonna be bad. Our Server Cody had no personality and lacked people skills. He greeted us by saying, “hi I’m Cody. Any drinks”. No wine samples ,or information on specials. It was all he could take to look at us let alone make a friendly connection with us. After ordering our appetizer and then eating it, it was a good 15 mins later and Cody finally came to take our dinner order. After taking all 3 of our orders Cody was about to walk away but I stopped asked, “excuse me since you didnt ask us” “do our dinners come with soup or salad anymore”? Cody looked confused and asked what we would like.15 mins pass and finally another server brings our soups out but with no bread sticks. We ask for bread sticks. ANOTHER 15ish more mins pass and our server Cody finally checks on us. He informs me that the dish that I ordered (now at least 45+ mins ago) was not available. He asks me what I want instead. I had to ask for a menu, Since I do not work there. In the mean time we asked for refills on our soup and our breadsticks (60 mins later). I ordered the chicken parmigiana but a tad modified. (3 meat Marinera instead of house marinara ) VERY SIMPLE! In the meantime I also let our server Cody know he can bring my boyfriends and my sisters dinner out since it has been over an hour. Finally 90mins+ later and our food comes out. SURPRISE my food comes out wrong and my boyfriends and sisters food looks like it was sitting In the window all day. We still do not have bread sticks. Over a freaking hour for breadsticks!Seriously Olive Garden. This is one of your main components that bring people to you and what you are known for. Now At this point I am done and annoyed, I have completely lost my appetite. I am beyond frustrated. Your job is very simple Cody. I even said to my boyfriend and sister, that I, someone who has never worked for Olive Garden could do better than you, Cody. My little sister was extremely upset that dinner was going the way it was going, since she never gets the time to hang out with us, due to school and dance. My boyfriend and I haven’t had a nice dinner out in over three months, let alone quality time with my little sister. So now we are beyond disappointed, annoyed, and frustrated! At this point I don’t even want my dinner (even if Cody check backed in the correct time to fix it)since it was wrong , on top of that my sister and boyfriend just wanted more alfredo sauce for their pasta ,but sadly they never got it.We never even got a check back from Cody to see, “how did everything come out”.Another 15 mins pass CODY has not checked on us let alone asking my boyfriend want he would like for his refill on endless stuffed pasta. Another server happen to stop by and asked if everything was ok. My sister asked for extra sauce and now it has been well over an hour, if not almost two hours and my boyfriend asked if we were even going to get breadsticks. 10 more mins pass and still no CODY in sight of the restaurant!!! I would love to know where he is since there was only 6 other tables and 5 servers. He must of been in the back messing around or smoking. Finally my boyfriend is beyond fed up and went to talk to manager! The manager Darby is the only reason I am giving this 1 star. (If I could give Darby 5 stars I would) Cody needs to be retrained if not fired.I honestly don’t think he is meant for the restaurant industry. I really want to thank and acknowledge Darby the manager for understanding and helping us out. We will go to Delaware or Lancaster from now on. 2 hours+ for soup and an appetizer I will never go back Downingtown...

Very poor managerial.

I took my family at 101 Quarry Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335. Olive garden. We were registered, but we were told to wait for 10 minutes. According to them, the restaurant was not open to the public, but people were in and served in their designated area. While we asked to go outside and wait. we noticed that others were ushered in and being served. The entire restaurant was about 90% empty only those few people were there being served. So while waiting, we observed others being ushered in and served. So I asked the register why are we being registered and not ushered in as well. Reminding her that others that were just coming were allowed in. I told her politely that I wanted to speak with the manager on shift. When the manager came. He just stood looking at me without even greeting me. so I turned to him, rising my concern. The register begins to interrupt me. I turned to her politely, telling her. please allow me the opportunity to speak to the manager. At that point, the other register begins verbally aggressive toward me. my wife got frustrated and had to take the kids from the seem. I turned to her ( the register) telling her can't you see your boss and I are discussing this matter? The manager became to tell me to be silent at the register because she was speaking. I turned to him, telling him to tell the resister to be silent because we were discussing the matter. I again raised my concerns asking him why are we being denied access to enter the designated area of the restaurant when we are registered and others that are just coming are ushered in and served. I again asked him to please permit us (my family) to just sit in the designated area and wait. He denied it and even stood in front of the entrance as an act of preventing me to enter the designated area of the building, harshly requesting me to get out of the restaurant. After numerous denials of access to enter the restaurant. To avoid falling into temptation, I walked out of the Oliver garden and joined my family outside, and drove. I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the public, because I felt the manager's behavior is racism based on...

Food must still be good, as to be expected from Olive Garden. But there was no way for us to know if that's the case, because the way we were treated by the service staff in this Downingtown location was truly disappointing!

Went here on October 16, 2022 to celebrate an occasion. We chose this place because we had nice and pleasant experience in the past. This time it's different. We got seated after about 10 minutes of checking-in, and that's to be expected especially on a busy Sunday. The sad part is that we've been waiting for 15 minutes and nobody bothered to check on us! No one. Typically within a minute or two a staff would introduce themselves and prepare the table with the usual stuff (utensils, plates, etc.)

There were two staff who we came to realize that they're responsible for tables including beside and behind us. But neither of these two even bothered to check on us or at least let us know who will be with us soon. One of these staff looked on us more than twice, but did not even bother to speak to us and let us know if someone would be with us soon! Talk about personal and cozy service.

There were at least 6 staff members hanging out in the reception area of this restaurant, and we know they can see us, but nobody bothered to at least let someone know if anyone has already attended to us.

We left this place very disappointed with the way we got service, or lack thereof.

We're not putting the blame on the entire Olive Garden organization because we are cognizant of the fact that every branch is different. What we're expecting is that at least a decent service is afforded to every patron. Because we don't order our food and leave without paying! Disappointing.

Update as response to the Owner: Even though this has been 2 months already, it makes us wonder whether this response that you gave as a company clearly conveys that you have fully read our review, or your response is sadly a typical automated or canned reply that companies give out these days. Because if you really investigated our review you would not have asked for the location we...
