Stopped by to pick up a couple burgers and some shakes. I always liked Five Guys, even though they are a little expensive and the burgers are greasy, they are still an occasional treat. I ordered online and prepaid thinking it was a very convenient set up. As I walked in there was a very distinct odor of marijuana smoke inside. Two of the employees walked passed and it was clearly not a customer the aroma was emanating from but the employees. The cook was nice if a bit befuddled in trying to keep up with the orders and receiving no help from any of the others. The milkshakes were not ready and the female employee in charge of that task was rather put out to have to make them. Her disdain was evident as she tossed a still folded cup carrier which I had to request and walked away without so much as a glance in my direction. No eye contact was made no polite grin. Just a surly, disinterested look on her face that poorly masked obvious disdain. The two stars (originally was downgraded to one, see update) was for the mediocre but at least palatable food that was underwhelming. The lack of the other stars was for the horrible demeanor of the staff and the wafting of the marijuana. All of the employees were obviously very young and supervision is an issue with most places these days but it was as if there was no attempt to disguise the fact that a controlled substance was used inside while open for business. Very disappointed that this franchise would allow this type of activity to occur on the premises.
Just an update: had some pretty serious stomach cramps overnight. I can’t imagine there is a high priority for food hygiene or safety with the staff using controlled substances during their shift. I would skip this restaurant and choose an alternative unless you like to live recklessly. Very disappointed in this location and...
Read moreFive Guys Burgers and Fries consistently delivers a solid, satisfying experience. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff and open kitchen give off a welcoming vibe. The burgers are definitely the highlight—cooked fresh to order, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can choose from a wide range of toppings, making each burger completely customizable to your tastes. I’m always impressed with how generous they are with the portions, especially the fries. The Cajun fries are a personal favorite, crispy and seasoned just right, though I do wish they offered a cheese sauce option to dip them in. That’s honestly one of the few drawbacks of my experience—cheese sauce just seems like a natural complement to those crispy fries, and not having it is a bit of a letdown.
Aside from that, the fries are abundant—usually enough to share—and they’re always hot and fresh. The peanuts available while you wait are a nice touch too. The atmosphere is casual, but it feels like they take their food seriously, which I really appreciate.
Overall, Five Guys does what it does well: delivering a delicious, no-frills burger experience. If they ever add cheese sauce for the fries, it’d take things to the next level, but even without it, I’m always satisfied with my meal. Definitely a go-to spot when I’m craving a...
Read moreFood was excellent but it's a bit pricey, but then again compared to Mc Donald's its not because the food soars way above the avg fast food. The milk shakes are very different n interesting, they stay thick until last sip n for 45 mins until home my shakes never lost the thickness even when it got a bit warm, not sure if they add something like clear gel to jeep it thick but something is added but they are awesome. The fries are very good too, could be a bit oil soaked for some people though. 4 Bacon Cheeseburgers, 2 lg fried, 2 shakes were close to $80, costs of everything has greatly increased this past yr but for a occasional treat n splurge for some money wise you will at least get a very tasty meal n drink for your money, plus you can watch every step of your burger being made which some will find this comforting. They have one of those awesome soda n drink machines where you can make about 100 varieties of a drink lol. Service wasn't too bad, it did take about 15 -20mins from time we entered until left if not a bit longer, I didn't time it. You cam eat inside, but stools may be a bit high for some n for some older customers, there is a few picnic tables outside but uncovered. Id definitely eat here again and choose them over other burger fast food...
