9-15-24 update As usual visiting this location is extremely disappointing. As you read this interaction consider the time it all would have taken when you get to the end. I did a mobile order after arriving and checking in I was 3 cars back, I got my receipt from the first window then when I got to the second window after waiting for about a minute I'm told we don't have any strawberry pies if you want them you'll have to wait 12 minutes for us to make them. So I asked what my options were considering is already paid for them and asked if I could get apple instead, she partially shut the window and asked if I could get apple, the response I heard was we don't have any pies, when she turned around and said we don't have any at all I again asked ok then what are my options because I've paid for 2 pies, she offered a refund which I accepted, she asked what my payment method was which was my debit card so I had to get it out give it to her she went and processed the refund and brought my card back. After this another girl named Jenny came and handed me the happy meal and told me I would need to pull forward into a parking spot to wait for the rest of my food, I told her I did not want to move because 1. We had been waiting for several minutes by this time and were already having issues with the order. 2. Every single time they pull me I sit there an additional 5-10 minutes and then if the order is incorrect I have to wait even longer so if like to just wait, well Jenny tells me that I HAVE to move, I told her I actually did not HAVE to move and she then threatened to call the local police on me and have me arrested for trespassing, yes trespassing while ik waiting for food I paid for and that if that happened I'd never be allowed at McDonald's again, this is where my attitude came in because now my 6 year old in the backseat is upset thing 1. Moms going to get arrested and not understanding why 2. She was just told we could never go to McDonald's again (me, who cares, her unfortunately loves the place). So I then asked for the general manager name and number which Jenny refused to give me told me to find it on the receipt and then Jenny came outside took the drink to the car in line behind us and loudly told them that she was sorry they had to wait that those people pointing at our car were rude and refused to move because we didn't care so then that customer begins honking their horn and yelling at us, my 6 year old is very confused by all this because she just wanted a happy meal. Then the other girl hands me our food and one burger is in pieces out of the wrapper like it was slung in the bag, I now mentioned that and Jenny yells at me over the other girl that I did that, now my husband speaks up because he's tired of m e being yelled at by Jenny because his food was thrown in the bag not in the wrapper. I asked the other young lady for the name of the girl yelling (Jenny) when she tells me Jenny then yells at her for giving out her name. I have put in a call to the corporate phone number requesting to speak to Lori the GM and haven't heard back yet. This is sad how the workers feel they can be rude to, yell at and, threaten paying customers.
Always have a problem at every visit. Tuesday night my husband took one of our kids while I was at work. Fries were burnt and half full he was charged for bacon and received no bacon ( this isn't the first time) I went after work about 3 hours later fries were so burnt I couldn't eat them and guess what I paid for bacon and also received no bacon. Tonight I sat there in the drive thru you can't possibly get out of with a line of cars behind you for and hour and fifteen minutes for 1 meal and a burger. No apologies until I complained. The response I got was even better, what does everyone want me to do about it. Read moreFirst of all, I DETEST the computerization of everything & disconnection of human interaction. We are being desensitized, and then wonder why humanity no longer shows compassion and respect for mankind. As for the store I attended (in Ellijay GA)... I used the kiosk to try and place my order, but computers don't understand how to provide GOOD customer service. They were out of Medium cold-cups, so the computer would only give (force) me the option to "upgrade" for an additional charge. I'M NOT PAYING A FEE FOR THEIR LACK OF PREPARATION/SUPPLIES! I understand, "it's just $.30", but if you do the calculations ($.30 × # of customers per store × # of US stores × 365 days), that's an additional $144 Million (or more) McDonald's forces customers to pay in just a year. I went to the front counter to try and get the issue resolved. I spoke to one of the employees, and explained the situation. She said she would find someone who would help, and went to the back. She was gone for about a minute, but when she returned, she began gossiping with another employee about me complaining. She did this WELL within earshot of me, which is rude and very unprofessional. Read moreI do not at all understand how this place is even open. THIS IS NOT MY FIRST ISSUE AT THIS MCDONALDS. I am making that clear because otherwise I would not leave this review!!! I stopped by went to the 2nd lane for faster service like it says because someone else was ordering at the 1st lane I waited for them to still take my order AFTER the car that was AFTER the one in the 1st lane ordering!!!!! So whatever I get over that get to the window after repeating my order at the speaker 3 TIMES and they OVER CHARGED ME AND STILL GOT IT WRONG!!! They then give me a refund for what I was charged and then charged me the right amount. Then I get to the 2nd window AND THEY HANDED ME THE WRONG ORDER!!!!! Handed me the right one after I handed it back and said it was not mine she did not clarify it had NO KETCHUP like she was supposed to only said it’s 2 double cheeseburgers. So I handed it back and said I will not eat it if there’s no ketchup. She looks and says they are no ketchup. So I got treated like absolute trash there for no reason after using my deals to get food and paying for food other than that I just do not understand and not 1 apology or anything.
