DePalma's Apizza — Restaurant in East Haven

The delivery driver who drives a red car named James. Is a professional, fast, dedicated delivery driver who exceeded my expectations. I’ve done deliveries for a bit and know the frustration that comes with having a time limit making sure the food is still hot, having to deal with rude customers, low tips, weather and those last minute late night calls. We called last minute and I opened the door expecting a rude delivery driver but he was exceptionally polite and I was surprised seeing as it was the day we got bad rain. So even though he got poured on the guy still had a good attitude! I highly recommend the place and request him but make sure you acknowledge his work!

Decided to try DePalmas. Called and ordered Fettucine Alfredo dinner and was asked if I wanted a side salad for another $2.50. No thanks. Most places include one. Got there and as I entered, I was shocked. The entire place was dim and grimy. Looks like it hasn’t been updated and deep cleaned in many many years. As I was waiting, I witnessed one of the cooks removing pasta from the pan with his fingers. The price I was charged was not what was listed on the website but maybe prices have increased post-Covid. Unfortunately, the dinner was as awful as the atmosphere. The Fettucine Alfredo was honestly the worst I have ever tasted. It was bitter and sour. After adding some of my own cream and butter to make it minimally edible, I ended up throwing the entire order away. It was just that awful.
