McDonald's — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

First of all, I NEVER write reviews - but we had such a HORRIBLE experience I knew I owed it to others.. After waiting at least 20 min just to order & pay, we were told to park and the food would be ready in 1-2 minutes. After sitting in our car for 15 minutes & seeing 3 other cars also parked to wait on food, my husband went inside (no employees came out to anybody to tell them anything). He said 3 employees were standing around a stack of papers (probably trying to figure out how to make the food!?!) while one lady stood in the back with a headset on continuing to take orders & the person at the window continued taking everyone's payment. (!!!???) HE SAID HE DIDN'T SEE A SINGLE PERSON RECEIVE FOOD, just drinks. Inside, my husband along with many other customers were waiting for ANY employee to walk over and help them. My husband said the only person that seemed to know what was going on was the lady with the headset on, who was purposefully avoiding helping the customers inside. So after standing inside AT THE COUNTER, WAITING FOR 10 MINUTES without any employees even talking to him, and seeing many people WAITING FOR FOOD, TO ORDER OR JUST GET THEIR MONEY BACK, he decided to come back out to the car AND WE LEFT. That's right, NO REFUND, NO FOOD, NOTHING. McDonald's it is INCOMPREHENSIBLE that this can happen. CHARGING CUSTOMERS WHILE NOT PROVIDING FOOD???!!! HORRENDOUS. I have a whole new opinion of McDonald's and will tell my friends not to bother going there either. By the way, I think I'm glad we didn't get our food - who wants to eat food cooked by people that have no idea what...

Every inch of this location is filthy!! Doors, counters, windows, seats, kiosks, tables, soda area/broken ice machine, floors the BATHROOM was disgusting! An alarming amount of flies and gnats were in the establishment. Growing up in this area when I was younger, it was never like this. We stopped in for a quick bite today and never will return here. My "cheese"burger had zero cheese. The sandwich itself was smooshed flat. My teens big Mac was literally thrown together. Nothing at all was even/put together on his sandwich it literally fell apart when he tried to eat it. The team looked beyond stressed. The lady that brought the meal to our table was very kind! The only positive was her. My expectations are already low as it is a "fast food" place but my experience today was absolutely disgusting. Shame on the owner of this establishment. McDonald's CAN afford to have an employee go out once an hour at LEAST and clean ALL surfaces, make sure the napkin dispenser is full (it was empty), that the ice machines are working (one was not) and clean the bathroom! Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Boyfriend and I went through the drive through, thinking that would give us approximately 45 mins to talk before he had to be at work and I had to leave for a week. Well it took us about 50 mins to get our food ordered, payed for and picked up. One would think with ALL of the time that it took them, they would have had everything ready so that they could collect payment, hand and go; but nope, they handed us 1 item at a time and there was a couple minute delay between each as they would walk away from the window. We NEVER got an apology for the length of time that it took or even a nice smile from anyone!!! We know that this is one of the worst McDonald's in Lancaster County but I would never have expected to have to wait 45 mins at a FAST FOOD place and still be treated so so so poorly!!!! I have no idea how they stay open or what goes through any of the employees' minds as they neglect and treat customers absolutely horrifically!!!!!!!! I highly recommend that corporate does a mandatory training on EVERYTHING with these employees and/or just starts over with all new...
