Cemitas Tepeaca #3 — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

Known for their cemitas (tortas). But I'm a usual for their $2.20ish lengua and cabeza tacos to go (carnitas, pastor wasn't too great). Credit card taken with 3% fee. Located off 710fwy with parking in front of it, across and around it. There's parking in front of the truck, across from it, and down the street. They do have a small area to sit down and eat. I've only taken to go.

Within blocks/this neighborhood's tacos/burritos selections, think I enjoy Azteca for breakfast (very very different style but tortilla is bomb), this place Cemitas Tepeaca #3 for tacos (lengua and cabeza) is decent for locals, El momo (I like their original place but it's still decent, different style).

This place makes it easy to take to go with condiments inside. Their buche, carnitas and asada were okay. Not bad but wouldn't get them again. $3 for jamaica drink. The green sauce is medium spicy. Condiments include lemon wedges (not lime), carrots onions, cucumbers as sides, and the usual onion ciltrano in the taco.

Competitor truck Taqueria El Pecas taco truck only serves mini bite size tacos, with everything else being dried? And you have to taste to add more salt if needed, as well as it's cash only. If you go over the 710 to Boyle heights, there is Santa Rita Jalisco Taco Truck which is better with al pastor and such. Also any of the trucks would be wayyyy better than. East Los Angeles...

If you don't like dry tortillas for your tacos or burritos, then this is your place. Meat is juicy and tortillas aren't dry like every other taco truck I've been too Definitely try this place out! Cabeza...
