Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in East Moline

I was so excited that a Scooters location was opening close to me and at first everything was great! I’m a coffee lover and my kid loves the smoothies and snacks so I’ve spent hundreds of dollars since they’ve opened. Well on February 9th I stopped by on my way to work and ordered a coffee, small smoothie, large smoothie and cinnamon roll. After driving down the road my son asks where his cinnamon roll was and I realized they forgot it. I didn’t have time to go back and by the time I got off work that night they were already closed. On Monday I had lots of running to do and didn’t think about calling. Well today on February 11th I went to get a couple coffees and told them about how my son’s cinnamon roll was forgotten on Sunday. The manager that I spoke to was extremely rude and said that a lot of people have been lying to get free stuff. I showed her my digital receipt and said that I didn’t call that day because I went straight to work after dropping my son off and that I didn’t get off until they had already closed. She replied “you really didn’t get off until after 8” basically implying that I was lying. She eventually said that she would give me the cinnamon roll(that I had already paid for just didn’t receive) but that she wouldn’t do anything like that again. I’ve never been treated so badly by a manager and basically called a liar in front of my son. Hope they replace this manager because I won’t be back...

I advise against supporting Scooters Coffee in Milan or East Moline due to the unprofessional behavior displayed by the East Moline location's manager and the General Manager. During a conversation about an incident, the General Manager claimed that we couldn't know the truth because we weren't present. Nevertheless, the General Manager yelled at my daughter over the phone after reading text messages exchanged between my daughter and the East Moline manager. I highlighted the contradiction in her previous statement. My daughter was apparently fired without notification. She had received two write-ups for 'her attitude' because other coworkers were doing TikTok while she was cleaning. I’m a regular ever since they built this coffee shop. Employees are nice and friendly. Coffee is always good. I do miss my Maple Bourbon cold brew but the lady in the morning always pushes me to try something else😅 I’ve done the vanilla cold brew and the pumpkin cold brew. I’m not a fan of really sweet drinks and these are delicious. You can taste the flavor but yet you get that coffee flavor.
