Called and ordered dinner for the family: tray of catfish, lge fries and lge coleslaw. The fish was crispy and not too salty (a must for my family), fries were okay--I'll ask for them a little crisper next time, and they were not salted, coleslaw was great. Also got a slice of red velvet cake (delicious)! I think we have found our new fish place. Ask for a printed menu; it's more manageable than the online one. Pricing is not outrageous, but if you don't want to cook, you have to pay. What I really liked is that my order was put together after I arrived, and that I could call in an order for fish; they give you an order number which you will need when you come in to pick up. I used to like them but the worst . The service sucks! One time, for my event, they weren't open at pickup time and laughed about it. Another time, my family gave me another chance because it is a convenient location to go to, but again, incomplete order and long times for orders. It's been a few times. I'm the past on the wait, which we look past, but not being reliable for open times when advanced orders have been made and complete orders are unacceptable. Update, Oct. 17th 2023 I ordered a very small order. Just five wings for a snack. This is the first time my chicken tasted like old chicken that was fried more than once in old oil. Nauseating. Never had this situation from them at all. It was the worst chicken I have had in a long time and a waste of money. Yuck. And it’s always so good. I don’t know what happened but it was definitely not a good experience.
