I'm always happy to shop black 🖤 owned 😁 the team you have on Monday July 21 at 8pm need a raise they was super fast and extremely polite. I purchased the largest chocolate gelato they have. I purchased an apple pie confetti and also a strawberry 🍓 gelato as instructed from before, the boss man said I could always call the order in as per his instructions. So I tried it out this day and it worked perfectly I'm happy he vetted his staff to bring customers joy into their life even though everybody doesn't. Have a great day. They can bring a smile to that person's face. This is what customer service and customer relations is all about, especially in a small community like East Orange I lived in East Orange for about 25 years and have been a journalist and reporter for about 7 yrs this was a great 👍🏿 experience especially with this new generation, you usually don't get this kind of service with this new generation most of them are usually rude and belligerent and it's not a skin color. Maybe not for Uber eats! I ordered 3 items 2 being the strawberry shortcake concrete. The other item which was a 5 layer Gelato came closed and perfectly fine. The concrete came with an open top and gelato and stawberries spilled all over the bag. I called asking why the top were left open as this is obviously an Ubereats delivery order. I understand the blending tops are open but knowing it's a delivery order the blended tops should be proactively replaced with a closed top due to travel and the possibility that they may fall and being next to other food items also being delivered. The manager was not very open to problem solving. He wanted to give arbitrary reasons why this or that couldn't happen or why it did instead of a simple apology and committing to seeing this as a area of opportunity to improve. Sorry to say but this place is all about the experience for the kids because it’s so damn expensive for ice cream with sprinkles. For shoprite being right there. Next time I’m take my 5 and get 2 ice cream from shoprite and add another 5 and get sprinkles and cone for multiple kids at my house wanting ice cream. Got a small kids ice cream in a cup with sprinkles 4 something basically $5. Smh. At least my kid enjoyed it. But I guess it’s priced to make up for the months they are...
