Pizza Hut — Restaurant in East Peoria

Every once in a while we order from pizza hut after having a busy day and needing something quick for supper. Typically it's a pretty easy process by placing my order online and in about an hour we get our food with no issues. Well late last week I tried to place an order, and the app was messing up and not letting me add any items. So I called and it sent me to someone who isn't at the actual store. The lady took our order and when it came time to pay, she asked me to hold for a moment. After she said that, she put me on hold and eventually hung up on me. I called back and a different lady answered this time. She said our order was cancelled by the other lady. She stated that the location we are trying to place an order through was out of everything except heart shaped pizzas and pizza melts. So I told her nevermind, we won't be ordering. So now we get to tonight. We decided to give the app another try, and it's working! What a relief..NOT. I placed my order, and received the text and email confirmation. As time goes by, I keep checking the pizza tracker. At first it said they received my order, and after a bit it said they are working on making my order. After a while (about an hour) it still said it's being made. I decided to try to call and check on the order and the automated system stated my order was cancelled! I ordered at 9:30, and they don't close till 11. So I try getting ahold of an actual person from the store but it just rings non stop and eventually starts beeping and I have to hang up. I decide to drive to the location since it's 5 minutes from my house and they already had the lights off and doors locked (at 10:48.) So now I have no idea if I was charged for that order (over $100 for that order BTW.) How ridiculous that I can place an order online and they not only cancel my order, but don't even notify me of the cancellation! No clue why they cancelled it, but it was SUCH a waste of my time. Then I had to go somewhere else for food super late at night. I will NEVER order from...

Very disappointed on how they handled our order last night. Placed a pickup order online New Years Eve. Told hubby it would be ready in 10-20 mins. Thats what the order said. He gets there and they are closed. They tell him they cancled the orde. No phone call No email nothing and we look and we still have a charge on our card. He asks for proof it was cancled. He is waiting and the cops are called while he is waiting for proof which was never shown btw. When the cops arrive they tell my husband that the pizzas have been ready the whole time. Its been 45mins to an hour and who know what they done to them BY NOW. For good ness sake they called the cops and they are the ones that charged us and didnt provide a service. This situation could had been easily resolved. All they had to do was show proof it was cancled or give us the pizzas since they were already made. Also since when is it okay to cancle a order and not tell the customer?? I really hope corporate gets a hold of this or the owner or something the whole thing was uncalled for we deserve an apology and refund. Honestly i dont know if i will order from them again because of this and i love pizza hut this just is not okay to do...

Simple to go order. Two large one topping pizzas and an order of breadsticks. We get home and find that the chicken and spicy marinara pizza is a nasty buffalo sauce pizza with chicken so we take that back and get it replaced.

We should have checked the rest of the pizzas in the stack because the pepperoni pizza is completely missing. It’s a literal empty box. How in the world do you give a customer an empty pizza box and don’t double check if it’s actually in the box?? So now here we are driving BACK to Pizza Hut again to make sure we get what we ordered.

Absolutely ridiculous situation from a location that was easily a 5/5 for us all the other times we’ve visited. Won’t be back to this one anytime soon that’s for sure. What was supposed to be something quick for dinner after a long and stressful day has turned into this...
